Im on s2 episode 19 of my rewatch and I'm so done with it at this point, there's still a lot of good and fun stuff there and Windham Earl carries it, but it doesn't even compare to s1 or the first half of s2. Now im just holding out for the the finale.

Probably not; Lynch is old and only getting older and so much of the original cast is already dead or retired. And it would almost certainly end on another cliffhanger type mindfuck so I'm happy with what we already have. I mean 9-18 more hours of Lynch material would be amazing, but I don't think it will happen.

Not really. Before season 3 people would talk about all of his movies more but now it seems people focus more on TP since 2017. If he does something new that gets any success, it would make him be remembered more generally. If he does Season 4 he will definitely be mostly remembered for Twin Peaks above all
