Is S3 the one with Skade? That was probably the low-point of the series for me. In any case I hate it when a show flirts with spooky/paranormal shit like that, and Skade reminded me of that bit in early Vikings with Ragnar doing drugs with that Muslim chick or whatever.
Skade was such a boring character, probably only there to add some mystery and sex to the show.

Uhtred's babe strangling that seer witch or whatever who cursed her, I'm also aware of the source material even though I'm obviously not going to read it so I know it's par for the course to have the MC pierce a new gash in every chapter or so and have that gash represent a certain stage or conflict in the MC's life etc. — and to my mind the internal and/or spooky conflict offered by Skade was boring as fuck.

I didn't like her when she was introduced but her writing/portrayal didn't hide the fact she was blatantly manipulating everyone's superstition and that was refreshing.
