His purity, his bravery, his sense of duty, his badassery.

greatest generation character, didn't compromise his values, even when facing great odds/being in the minority, least powerful of the team yet still the de facto leader, bro/sis/co-worker relationship with widow, never broke professionalism and pursued romantically. gets to fuck the best tits in the MCU regularly with hayley. based star-spangled man theme. absolute kino

These. If there was anything from the MCU that's even remotely good, it's Captain America.

except that time he lied to tony. LOL

cap was never 100% sure about bucky killing tony's parents, so that's how he lied to himself about it, but at the same time tony only proved cap right by being unable to handle it and immediately trying to kill bucky instead of being le rational genius hero and believe that bucky was being brainwashed by the soviets

even then, that's still the smallest mistake any of the avengers ever made

> Movies are not action-comedies
> Doesn't quip but is instead a straight man (absolutely underrated comedy role today)
> Most relatable background and powerset.
> Stands for something. In The Avengers Tony Stark brags about what he would be without the Iron Man suit but Captain America, Steve Rogers, is still a courageous man without the super soldier serum.

He was the least compelling.

Right wing boring garbage.

>tfw no ass
How to I become and assChad like Captain America?

your gayness

do squats

>implying "le snarky know-it-all man" is better

that's not the raccoon

I wish. If I were gay I could jack off to Chris Evans fakes without feeling weird about it.

He actually moved like he could beat you to death with a street light. Faking that kind of athleticism is high tier physical acting, even if he's somewhat wooden across the board in his dialogue delivery.

I think Antman is the most likeable MCU character desu. He just wasn't near as big a douche as all the other characters.

They could never get away with this line today

Captain America is the embodiment of individual liberty and can stand toe-to-toe with a godly powerful embodiment of paternal tyranny in Thanos. He's compelling because he represents a universal component of the human experience - the will to defy the odds no matter how bleak things may seem if not to succeed, than simply out of spite towards evil.

Nothing you said inherently ties together.

Unironically the only reason the MCU had a chance at anything.

That's dumb though Cap should never be able to hold back Thanos.

we got tired of 35 years of dark anti heros but superman is still autistic so we like Cap' pretty well.

Evans and Holland and Simpkins and Hemsworth and Pratt and Rudd are relentlessly handsome.

based and anthilled

This. Especially the empathetic line in Ultron about experimentation. Shame about the rest of the movie, but that hallway walk was good.

Yeah the MCU is kind of for girls. Its all hunky beefcakes. There are no hot girls.
That's how you know something is meant for women.

He can hold him back because they are characters representing equal and opposite archetypes/themes. Thanos is at first amused/confused, then annoyed, then abandons the initial "rules" of the conflict to sucker punch Cap and advance. It's actually a very impressive piece of art smuggled into a normie action movie.

He was the only one that wasn't throwing out pop culture quips and giving the villains silly names.

In direct contrast to Thor being silly big man, instead of aloof and alien.

Yeah the only time Cap really quipped was in endgame when they knew they had to get all the jokes out of his character while they could

In a world of always partially dissimulating, facetious, and selfish heroes, his unrelenting sense of truth and justice shines like a beacon in the night. Ironically, his cliché comic book super hero views and character attributes have become refreshing. He is good on an ultimate level. He is the "best" human. He is what we all want to be like, he is what we all want as our best friend. We like him because he always does the right thing. Given that "right" means "moral".

Still dumb. Thanos is immensely strong. Cap is just a "peak strength human"

>Holland
>Handsome
>With that eyebrow

Nice meme

It's disgusting that there are people who cannot understand that, comprehend that, and who recoil from the thought of it.

you can always fuck the raccoon

>Cap is just a "peak strength human"

Where did you get this? That's maybe how it is in the comics but in the movies Cap does a bunch of super human shit.

Everyone always getting thrown and jumping back up, instead of having their ribs do a 180, is dumb too. Blame people who've never actually fought something kind of stronger than them, let alone having to understand something treating you like a dollar store soda can.

He is the hottest.

He was made leader because he is the only one with official military ranks and training. But a lot of it was explained in the comics as he read a lot of history and military history as a kid and after his transformation he needed so little sleep he read books all night every military manual he could get a hold of and had the equivalent of a "West Point Degree"

>least powerful of the team
Not quiet Black Widow and Hawkeye were just human with training (In the comics Black Widow is sometimes said to be juiced) But captain is a lot weaker than Iron Man in his suit, Thor or even Spiderman (Class 10 or Ten tonne strength) he is only at the peak of human being Olympic Level in all physical abilities and never gets tired he and Wolverine have abou tthe same power that way and both have class less than a class 1 strength (700 pounds)

MCU Cap is easily superhuman. He may not be nearly the strongest, but he performs completely impossible feats even for "peak human".

What, you don't watch the motorcycle toss at your local track meets?

My GF wanted to see Guardians 1 2 and Avengers 3 and 4 for no other reason than Rocket was adorable

I just want an adventure with Scott, Cap, and Rocket.

I'm gonna be honest, I saw them for the same reason

I wonder if they can fudge the time travel gimmick to get Chris Evan's to reprise his role for a cameo or two.

as a kid i had a real racoon tail it was so soft and fluffy even out kitten liked to sleep curled up with it

youtube.com/watch?v=d8ZhOMGvhcU

No but I do helicopter curls

He was just a really great guy

thats not Iron Man bro

>didn't compromise his values,
after endgame just sits there listening to faggots talking about not getting their dicks sucked after a date like its completely normal without losing it
yeah shit character desu senpai

The controversy this causes is truly strange. He's a man straight out of the 40's.

>IM GAY CAPTAIN AMERICA AND I NEED THE AUDIENCE TO SEE YOU AS A WHITE CHRISTIAN MAN TREAT MY SEXUAL ORIENTATION AS IF IT WERE NORMAL

This. Literally his first mission after being thawed.

He’s right

It caused controversy?

He must’ve been known for being a Christian to his fans because Ultron (who has all the information of the Internet) calls him “God’s righteous man” in AOU.

in russian version of this film this script was cut out

Based cheeky breekis

>fucking faggots, look at him, 50% of people dissapeared and all he cares about is sticking his penis in some young mans asshole

my sides
