I'm a Brit and most of out humour is shit. But there a few gems like early Red Dwarf, Blackadder and Peep Show. Basically the shows that are more about snappy one liners and funny dialogue and less about silly over the top stupid shit like OP's pic, or Fawlty Towers.

I thought the UK Office was pretty funny. Peep Show was good. Snuff Box only had one season and was hit and miss but great when it got it right. Dark place was great the first few episodes. Matt Berry and the bloke who played Howard Moon are pretty much always funny even if the show or movie surrounding them is shit.
