After that the decline began. S4 was a tad weaker than what came before. However with S5 things became DRAMATICALLY worse. There were a couple of sequences in S6 here and there which were as good as some of S4 but things remained nowhere near S1-4. S7 was more on par with S5. And then S8 fucking TORPEDOED with S08E03 and became fucking pants-on-head THIS IS SERIOUSLY WHAT THEY WENT WITH HOLY SHIT from thereon. Then Game of Thrones became a strange meta-comedy which was perhaps even more entertaining in its own way.
