It gets better every season. Even between episodes you can see it getting better. I'll encourage you to stick with it a bit, plot is good, Yugo is insufferable, lore is awesome.

It's literally just anime lite propped up by Zoomer nostalgia. I watched the whole first season to give it a fair try, couldn't be assed to start the second. Pacing is horrible, but that's to be expected from a show aimed at kids with short attention spans.

I like anime magical girl shows already. Ladybug is the best one since Madoka, and its sincere to the genre and plays it straight. It's not a deconstruction. It's just a comfy monster of the week magical girl show like muh sailur munes.
