Still at work selling "vital" footie boots
Non of these outbreak kinos capture the sheer fucking greed of corporations

if you're not greedy you should quit

How does he support himself during his next job search to cover a month of rent, utilities food etc.

how does the corporation stay alive without selling shoes?

>Solid well made zombie kino for the first half
>I have to save the wymyn from the evil soldier men who can't control their dicks for the second half
I honestly am the kind of person who frowns upon the typical 'muh wymyn and noggers' spam and complaints that goes on every thread but my god is it jarring in this one.

It literally turns into Die Hard with zombies and Im ok with that

Easy mode. Plenty of bogroll everywhere.

They’re not raping 4tu lulz, they are doing it because they believe the might be some of the only people left in the world and they need to reproduce

Didn’t know they already made a movie about the corona quarantine

Except we learn that there's plenty of people on the outside with planes and shit, and in the sequel we learn it was only in Britain. So they were either retarded and didn't think to see how the rest of the world was doing, or ignored all of that and just wanted sex slaves to impregnate.

Or the second movie wasn’t planned and the story is tacked on?

Here's your 4K ultra HD Blu Ray bro

Why this movie look how it look

It wasn’t supposed to be a documentary...

Imagine being this much of a bootlicker and wanting the corporate cock so fucking badly lmao

>28 Days Later features scenes set in normally bustling parts of London such as Westminster Bridge, Piccadilly Circus, Horse Guards Parade and Oxford Street. To depict these locations as desolate, the film crew closed off sections of street for minutes at a time, usually in early morning before sunrise on Sundays and would have typically around 45 minutes after dawn, to shoot the locations devoid of traffic and members of the public – to minimise disruption

>Portions of the film were shot on a Canon XL1 digital video camera.[9] DV cameras are much smaller and more manoeuvrable than traditional film cameras, which would have been impractical on such brief shoots.

I think they filmed with a digital camera and it looked shitty 2 years later. Now it looks like it was filmed with a Nokia from the 2010s

Instead of making a new thread I'll just ask here, is this this show (pic) any good? It's written by Alex Garland.

The guy they had locked in the prison cell thought that was the case, but look where he is.

The first movies ending (And the stuff the soldier in the cell says about how Britain is an island and everyone in America is probably watching the simpsons and stuff) suggests this was what the first movie meant.

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

HOW THE FUCK IS SAYING "FOOD MARKETS SHOULD STAY OPEN" BOOTLICKING?

How is he going to make money for food and electricity/water/internet bills you fucking neet

The Sargent that the other murders for protecting Jim and friends mentions that they've been seeing planes, so they knew there were still people out there.
The soldiers were just mindfucked from seeing the whole british army getting annihilated in a month, two guys were pshcyo and the rest were scared shitless.

I see. I guess it was worth it. Those scenes are very striking and probably the most memorable part of the film.

>food markets
>user clearly claims he works selling shoes
Are you fucking stupid?

Started re-reading this and it's crazy how more ominous the beginning feels and also funny too before all the craziness kicks off. The broad strokes describing Americans dealing with a pandemic that's more on the peripheral of society almost makes you wonder if the government could hide something as crazy as a zombie virus especially because the country reacts in much the same way people are now. But what's also funny is the overt parodies of the government and celebrity reactions actually getting it spot on. The government downplays the outbreak at first and even touts miracle vaccines, and then even more hilarious is that the celebs end up all livestreaming themselves in isolation.

The movie didn't do the book justice. Should have been a show series

Unemployment?

Saw it and 28 weeks some days ago

Very nice movies as always, but last time I didn't knew the music when he wakes up was from GY!BE, which suprised me when I saw it again having become in the meantime a huge fan of em

Those soldier boys didnt deserve to die

Agreed

Be grateful you didn't get laid off yet asshole.

Scariest part of the movie in my opinion

I blame this movie for the current standard of 'angry' zombies

I miss passive, lurching, moaning zombies

Attached: dawnofthedead.jpg (1200x680, 90K)

28 Sneeds Later lmao

Angry zombies worked great in Kingdom. Think shamblers would have been too easy.

A prequel called 28 Seconds Later would be kino.

They forced the engineers here to stay in the office so that they could "support the manufacturing plant" while all of upper and middle management is working comfortably from home.
Finally just told off upper management in a conference call they held with all office employees and I managed to get all office staff the choice to work from home due to my outburst

You can't just shut down the economy

They wanted it to have a more layman look for whatever reason

Of course you can. It's fake anyway.

If the movie was a porno it'd be called 28 Gays Later

Thankfully most zombie purists like you have gone the way of the dodo and most people realize that what makes a zombie movie kino is not the “stats” of the zombies, but rather the feeling of impending dread before things go completely to shit, followed by the contrast of the safe and comfy inside with the deadly outside, and the looming thought that eventually you will run out of supplies and be forced to make brief but deadly forays into this deadly, hostile world.

Indeed, a World War Z anthology zombiepocalypse tv series was the way to go, as it would have allowed for stand-alone episodes, multi-episode arcs, half-season arcs and entire season arcs that would have kept the series fresh and interesting, whereas The Walking Dead with the same characters in the same locations and same storyline was doomed to burning out.

Domino's is still open for delivery.

Attached: pizza.jpg (468x500, 185K)

A zombie purist knows all this. That's why old zombies are better. The slow, awkward shuffling of large numbers of zombies better represents their numerical superiority and inevitable advance than today's pro-active athlete zombies who literally bark before they bite.

I suspect that in the post-corona virus world, there will be a major push to implement work-from-home wherever possible.

My buddy works for a major bank and prior to the shit hitting the fan, they were actually trying to bring all kinda people _back_ to offices for some reason (retarded executives promoting retarded policies just to seem relevant) and now it looks like all that went out the window.

Attached: work from home.jpg (1200x900, 293.04K)

>That's why old zombies are better.

Nonsense. As we've seen with The Walking Dead, slow dumb zombies means the characters have to continually do absolutely stupid shit nobody in their right mind would ever do in that type of situation just to drive the plot forward, as the zombie aren't really a threat.

I'm reminded of Rick stupidly letting all those zombies out of the gravel pit where they were safely contained, just to create some kinda drama on the show...

Attached: lets release them.jpg (1280x720, 129.05K)

What the fuck were they even doing in there?

they will figure out that people work better at work and once this is over nothing will change.

I think you mean they will find out that they have better command over their employees when they're in the office

28 DAY SLATER

Attached: slater, february.jpg (1125x1500, 210.24K)

>filmed with a potato
what's your excuse Yas Forums?

I think public schools will be the only thing really impacted by this the way you expect. The hate boner for them has only gotten bigger in the last 2 decades, and this will be what really does them in when people realize how much can be done from home.

>tfw no WWZ documentary with the audiobook actors reprising their roles

Attached: bathtub dog.jpg (3264x1952, 411.28K)

I'm gonna have some christian s-now and some christina slater.

no you underestimate how little parents actualy like there children, one of the biggest problems with the schools shuutting down was paretns moaning how they now have to actualy look after there children

True.

>I think public schools will be the only thing really impacted by this the way you expect.

Schools will remain they way they are, as the vast majority of people can't afford to stay home with their kids.

Oh god oh god oh god WHY do we have to have a learning disabled president RIGHT NOW. I understand affirmative action and all that but now is not the time for learning disability representation in government.

Hot take and maximum purist: not only are slow zombies better, but Night of the Living Dead is still the creepiest zombie movie. There's something about that film that they couldn't replicate.
