By nightfall these stocks will be swarming with crashing futures! We must reach the doors of the Federal Reserve.
What makes literally every line in this movie so memorable?
NICE
CRISPY
BACON
Boromir was so awesome. That scene of him training/playing with the hobbits is my fav in the whole trilly
because you're an incel that seen it a hundred times and spends his time on Yas Forums that quotes it all the time. Nobody remembers lord of the rings.
>tfw you will never enjoy a few well-earned comforts sitting on the field of victory
The delivery. Its stilted like Shakespeare
>"Give them a moment for Pete's sake"
Who was Pete that Boromir was talking about? Was it Gandalf's first name?
>Was it Gandalf's first name?
Correct. The Hobbits love to eat and with Pete Gandalfs death he left them his last steak to eat and Boromir was just asking for a little more time for them to chew and digest it.
Why so angry?
On your feet Sam
because I’m glad to be with you user, here at the end of all things
Dilate.
Bean really knocked it out of the park.
YOU FOOL
I hate volcanoes. They're dry and ashy and they smell like dwarf farts.

based and legolaspilled
Gosh Stephen Fry is disgusting irl
I do like that scene, but it was ruined for me ever-so-slightly when someone pointed out that Merry and Pippin are like in their 50's, by Hobbit standards.
Literally shot that one Uruk as he was retreating, war-crime!
>Aragorn in the background
AAAAAAGH, PRINCE GREENLEAF HELP MEEEEEE
Well fuck, now I really want to rewatch the trilogy.
we are SHITTING on a field of victory
kek
No they're still young by hobbit standards. I can't remember the exact age range, but hobbits are still considered tweens into their thirties or something.
ISILDUR'S BANE?
According to the wiki, Pippin was born on 2990 TA and Merry was born on 2982 TA. The hobbits leave the Shire in 3018 TA, making Pippin 28 and Merry 36. Hobbits don't officially reach adulthood until 33, so Pippin would still be considered a teenager and Merry would be in his early 20's equivalent to human years. It absolutely makes sense that they would fuck around and have fun playing swords with a knight of Gondor.
I bet you guys rewatched LotR 10+ times but never noticed him.
Boromir was based, the only true human in a party of freaks.
They’re 50 in hobbit years in the books, in the movies you may as well think of them in early 30s since in the books the time difference of Frodo getting the ring from Bolbo and actually leaving hobbitshire was like 19 years but in the movie it may as well have been a couple. Also for hobbit, being 50 is still considered pretty young and isn’t at all equivalent to a human 50
You're a late guy.
You know how when you hover your cursor over a YouTube thumbnail and it plays a random few second of somewhere in the video? I literally saw that elf just a few days ago when hovering over the video of Aragon becoming king and that elf was there and it confused the fuck out of me
Chad Legolas vs Virgin Aragorn
Was Boromir really as bro tier to the Hobbits in the books as he was in the film? He came off as extremely based, teaching them to fight and playing with them and stuff.
Boromir was even more based in the books, the speeches he gives to his men are god-tier rallies
I can’t remember him teaching them how to fight in the books, he didn’t really talk to or interact with the hobbits much in the books other than ride in the boats with them when they left Lothlórien or when Boromir tried taking the ring from Frodo
Who 's Pity?
Even so, its a soldier having a pillowfight with a bunch of midget farmers. Its adorable

Theoden is 100% kino.
Why don't the dwarves just dig a tunnel to Mordor and send the ring down a minecart?
Goblins would've fucked them up, like they did before.
she cute
Still happens in Mount and Blade, along with a bunch from ASoIaF.
looks like Bowie and Moot had a baby
Boromir's affection for the Hobbits was a great character trait, in addition to giving his life to save two of them, he even is the first to say that the mountain pass will be the death of the Hobbits.
>she

4means too
remember when black metal musicians used LOTR character names but then changed their stage names after the movie came out
remember when people started using game of thrones character names after the books came out then regretted it when the tv show was announced
God damnit Anons, now I just want to watch it again. Why is it so good? Why can't we just let it go? Hell, why is it so much KINO? WHY WHY WHY
and those who watched game of thrones and named their kids and pets after the characters and regretted it when the show nosedived
