Good. Now I can use my money to build a better wife. Oh no wait instead I will go crazy and literally NOT do that.

would it be immoral to build a robot looking like your daughter and fuck her?

People? I’ve only killed pigs, mexicans, and niggers in every GTA. They are not people.

not funny

imagine judging an entire species for the activities they get up to in Red Dead Redemption. And then consider that in most games with evil options basicly nine out of ten players always take the "good" option, like paragon in mass effect. Top lel.

back in the day when I was really bored I went full serial killer and stabbed hookers in dark alleys, but at least I'm not married.

Attached: 1584882944090.jpg (250x201, 6.39K)

yes but not your daughters school friends who coincidentally also look a lot like her but just different enough its ok

the excuse is that "that's who you really are"

not vidya

I laffed

>not curb stomping whores to get your money back

hello sir, this is Yas Forums

yeah totally. imagine being that retarded.

I always take the good option, but still ruin my honor in RDR2 because I can't fucking resist being as cruel as possible to NPCs when I'm bored

yeah, and it's dumb as fuck. If they really wanted to find out who they are they would give them the mind recording hat and send them out to their real life environments and record that for a year, five, ten.
Anyway, the writing is pretty garbage is generally. Who would pay for an immortality scheme that doesn't even make you immortal, it just makes (if everything works out) a copy of you.

Blessed wholesome post

>And then consider that in most games with evil options basicly nine out of ten players always take the "good" option
To be fair, evil options in games usually just end up making you act like an autistic nigger without an ounce of foresight or basic social skills. You also usually get even less rewards overall and get punished for straying from being evil so you're forced to be a dick even to characters you like. More people would probably choose the bad options if your character actually seemed like a logical human being and there were genuine, even if depraved, reasons for doing them.

>GTA
People are playing Red Dead Redemption 2 now gramps

Yeah, but those GTA NPC have souls and look very like a real human bean.

I haven't watched the show much, but aren't they considerably closer to being human than an NPC in a video game? it's basically just killing people
the show seems pretty brainlet tier because they made the robots so close to human and sympathetic that there's really not much to debate or think about
...unless you are HBO's target retard game of thrones audience I guess

if I'm paying 40 grand a day for playing dress up I'll god damn kill every bot I want

and my wife would understand it that wasting money on hiking and horse riding in a quasi simulation is dumb as shit when I can have that in the real world for MUCH cheaper

I am kind of confused at why people like this show... it's pretty dumb.

Ed Harris is great and he wields a LeMat revolver in it, you don't often get to see them that much

just like with Walking Dead or Game of Thrones plebs are told something is good due to a decent first season so they keep watching it because they have no ability to properly judge things and ounce people start moving on they lag behind

a fake cartridge LeMat revolver that never existed

but god damn it should have
I want Pietta to make one

...

First season was good since it dealt with automatons gaining coincidence which puts everything into a gray area. Now the sentient automatons are on a killing spree because of things people did to automatons, but we are still supposed to root for them which makes no sense.

gta5 had its highest player count ever in january

Honestly, premise that people would just go off the rails and kill everyone seems pretty unrealistic to me. It's very boomerish murder simulator moral panic. Sure, people might sometimes do it, but I'm pretty sure most people would actually want to live out heroic, or even mundane fantasies. Like where's people who go to Westworld to live idilic frontier life with their robot wives? I know it's not that titillating, but some acknowledgement could be nice.

I feel like the component that’s missing is the frat boy douche angle. For every loner with dark fantasies, there’s a dozen loners who’d kill for a chance to feel like a legit hero. But get that dozen together, get them drunk, and they’ll talk themselves into all manner of heinous shit, because they’ll keep dispelling each other’s illusions. Once you break the illusion and keep getting reminded that A) they’re not real people; and B) there are no lasting consequences, all bets are off.

she killed herself because her husband was an autist who spent all his money on playing dress up and role-playing. Much like how current warhammer players are permavirgins

The problem is there wouldn't be a show if you followed those normal people, but the problem is that the show takes their forced deviants as natural examples. We did get a brief glimpse of some woman who just wanted to play wholesome adventures in season one for like one or two episodes. It seemed as fun as fuck. You never hear dolores or ford talking about those people though.

My wife left me because I fucked a hoe in GTA SA and then murdered her to get the money back, as you do.

>season 3 is litterally GTA in the real world
>people pay 40k a day to play red dead redemption

kek.

Not funny...... hilarious.

>only remember the bad, never the good

Oh, so they’re no better than humans? If they had any brains, they’d drive that point home, but I won’t be holding my breath to see it.

Imagine alium playing GTA in real world using real humans, haha.

>>Yeah, but those GTA NPC have souls
not even humans have soul.

I mean I watched my friend playing a sandbox type game before and he was just doing the most edgelord shit and he had never shown that side of himself around me before that
it really did make me think less of him even though it was just pixels and code, his behavior was fucking bizarre and sadistic. it's like discovering someone you thought you knew has a really obscene fetish

>but we are still supposed to root for them
are we?
Nolan said S3 is about making humans sympathetic again

are you a woman?

To be fair to RDR, if you build up a bad reputation, you get constantly chased and it's a nuisance.

That's just good business sense.

no, and I run over hookers in GTA like any red blooded male
but he was playing some game that had nothing to do with GTA type stuff, I forget what it was, some dogshit like skyrim probably and just methodically killing npcs and then stabbing their heads for minutes at a time while saying nothing, just staring at the game and cutting up gibs
if I already thought of him as an edgelord it wouldn't be that weird I think

>Imagine my wife

>and then stabbing their heads for minutes at a time while saying nothing, just staring at the game
ok that's creepy I agree

when i was a kid, i would sneak into my brother's room and play gta 3 on his xbox. i didn't know you could do missions and shit, i thought the entire game was just going on a killing rampage and seeing if you could outrun the police. that aspect of the game really held up, i'd just spend hours driving on the sidewalk to take out as many people as possible while fleeing the cops

buncha normalfags in here

>but we are still supposed to root for them
What? No, we're not. Dolores is clearly depicted as villainous and the others who'll try to stop her are shown as the good guys.

Thing is, imagine you play the same game for 10, 20 years. Sure, you'd do the right thing and play frontier life, even become a hero at first. By your 100th play, you're just trying to kill every single npc just to see what happens.

>By your 100th play
> 40k dollaridoos a pop
we got a whale here

So what are the odds of an actual ai coming in at the end of this and going on a tirade about just how mind bogglingly retarded everyone has been and then putting a stop to it all? It's the only thing I could think of that would even come close to explaining why everyone seems to have had been lobotomized prior to the show starting.

>t.

This is part of what gets me. You can tell they desperately wanted to try and make the park seem "mysterious" and "mystical" but most of the ways they did it came at the cost of believability.
The movie, for all its other faults does a good job making the part seem like a place people actually want to be as it's a fnaf players wet dream, being little more than a glorified brothel where the main attraction are the sex bots.

can you try again in english?

Based

Ed Harris was the owner. He played "for free."

the point of the show is that evry paying guest is behaving like a psycho murderer and raper

>You can tell they desperately wanted to try and make the park seem "mysterious" and "mystical" but most of the ways they did it came at the cost of believability.
As in...?

Imagine killing your daughter because you thought you were playing GTA

Not really. It's never implied that every guest acts like that, only the characters the story focuses on. Also, this is a park for the super rich to let out all of their hedonistic tendencies. It's not representative of humanity.

"Raper"? Forsooth, good sir. Willth we parlaying ye olde English? Did you mean "Rapper"?

what? i have always pretty bad reputation because I just can't resist killing random npcs on lonely streets, what are you talking about

Stopped watching this shit years ago, did they ever explain how the bullets work?

>did they ever explain how the bullets work?
unfortunately yes
there's some mechanism that "slows" them down (lmao!!!) to not be piercing anymore

Yeah, most people don't do that, obviously. Again, the bad reputation puts a bounty on you and having to deal with them just gets annoying.

Is this extraordinary and revolutionary technology used in any other application besides "make theme park bullets safe"?

s3 is first season out of the park
we'll see

That's completely retarded but there was no way to explain it without being shit. It was one thing that the bullets were duds and the hosts were much more fragile than humans but then you have hosts with superguman strength.

I guess you could've made it that they were blanks and the host bodies registered a hit and simulated the damage perfectly. But you can still kill people shooting blanks.

>imagine you play the same game for 10, 20 years
i've been playing fallout 3 for about ten years, and i think the first playthrough was the only time i went evil

>But you can still kill people shooting blanks.
9mm?

incel and teen humour is the cringiest shit. Try hard edge without actually being funny.

But you got it out of your system. You still did it once. Other people who play as good might do an evil playthrough for kicks.
Still, not all people react the same, obviously. You can't use a sweeping generalisation in these things. There might be people who ONLY play white hat and people who ONLY play black hat,

based

>>incel and teen humour is the cringiest shit.
it's a historical joke

I thought the premise of this show was that if you give an incel (William) a chance, he becomes a monster (Man in Black). Good-looking and manly, since he has had sex, but he becomes even more perverse and cruel than other good-looking people, because he was evil inside all along.

Women really do hate sub-chad men.

His last playthrough was completely heroic in S2, though. But everyone kept telling him "No, you're bad inside."
s2 was a mess in more than one aspect.

thats not particularly funny either. for me its because pwning people with a different political opinion is more important than the actual jokes, sjws do this too though are worse than incels because of all the no no words you cant say.

Why would be immoral?
