This is very unfair. Goscinny had unquestionably a sense for dialogues and witty humour, but, while they created Asterix together, Uderzo was more responsible for the drawings than the scripts, and nothing can be said about his art. All things considered he kept the series at an above average quality even when he was doing everything, imagine what most DC and Marvel artist would do if they had to take care of the stories as well, which are already pretty bad on average.
