I've talked about this before but I want a movie that follows a future president from adolescence, and his slow and meticulous struggle and subsequent rise to power (could even be a pajeet for all I care)
He ends up being the greatest president the world has ever known. Or so it seems, until it turns out he was hellbent on causing a nuclear apocalypse, and launches the nukes.
That's the very basic gist of it but if done right it could be interesting.

I like the part about following a fictional president from his youth but the nukes seem like a cheap twist. I think it be more interesting if he was more conflicted with what it means to be a president and the fact he had to lie all the time and act against the public interest.

I want a movie similar in tone to Chronicle, about a young guy getting superpowers, but instead of the typical superhero fare it's about the moral dilemma of actually using his powers or not, and the actual socio-political repercussions that his presence would have on the world (i'm especially interested on how the government and foreign powers would react).

Kind of like the flashback scenes from Man of Steel except actually written and directed by a competent person.

The first world war never happened. Britain remains a major industrial power. Fast forward to the 1980s. The USA has suffered major decline, many Americans have moved to Britain and exist as gangsters and reprobate second class citizens. Our story, set in a dystopian Sheffield, is a simple film noir "haggard antihero looks after young girl", whose prostitute mother is murdered. Our man leads her to safety and dies in the process as the American underclass chases them both in a violent spree. Final scene is the girl, grown up, murdering the last of her protector's killers before speeding off into the horizon of the Peak District in an Audi Quattro.

a neo noir detective thriller set in the 1910s with the dying old west as a backdrop.

A corrupt businessman hires a thug to intimidate a rival, but he ends up killing the entire family instead (taking inspiration from the Villisca Axe murders). Now a group of aging Marshals and new age Pinkerton detective agents most begrudgingly come together and find him as he crosses state lines and they connect him to even more axe murders. They track him from dusty western towns, to growing small suburbs, to the city where the corrupt businessman works and is trying to distance himself from the controversy. Once he is back in town and stabbed in the back from his boss, the killer goes on an even bloodier rampage (inspired by the servant girl annihilator)

I've built the world for a number of years. Their story is just an insignificant part of the wider world.
