I liked the clone attack, but I hated that they killed them all, every single one of them right at the beginning of the movie.
I hate it when they set up a situation at the end of a movie or a show's season, only to quickly get rid of it at the start of the sequel or next season.
but the RE movies are also guilty of simply erasing characters and storylines, like when a movie ended with Milla, Jill, Wesker etc on the roof of the White House confronting a massive zombie army...and then the next movie doesn't even flashback to it, Jill has disappeared forever, etc etc
