The weapons are much more balanced so that you use all of them every fight and Glory Kills can be quickly upgraded to allow you to do them at extreme ranges and gain a speed boost after so they're their own mobility option. My main gripe with 2016 was how hard GKs slowed it down, they're a necessary breather in Eternal because it's overall far more hectic.

Oblivion's environments absolutely still hold up though. The lush foliage of the West Weald and the Great Forest and the dense swamp east of Leyawiin are incredibly gorgeous even by modern standards.
