But the absolute top Stacy hung out with me on the regular and I have been told by my non-autistic friends that I had a chance with her
Meanwhile her close friends (theater girls) were absolute cunts and were essentially the source of my reputation as designated shooter
On the male side I got on well with the Chads and Tyrones and only had problems with ugly ultra-mutt spics who in retrospect probably had some kind of self-esteem problems that they were taking out by causing trouble with everyone.
I got in a few fights and at worst broke even and was never embarrassed by them, yet I always felt ashamed because I had been told my whole life violence is wrong and never the solution. I guess I'll tell my kids that there is nothing wrong with standing up for yourself. There's a couple instances where I really should have thrown the first punch and would have been in the right.

At my leaf school it was a complete crapshoot. The prettiest and ugliest girl were friends with one another and both were total sweethearts. There was an obese girl who skipped every other day of school, she was so faultlessly vapid and petty that you couldn’t help but grind your teeth whenever she spoke. Our jocks were total stereotypes: one of them complained to the gym teacher that “little guys just make me so angry I want to rip their arms off.” The nerds were just as bad but they’d denigrate you for being stupid (I was one of those, unfortunately, before I realized that intelligence didn’t matter all that much and I was half as smart as I thought).
The weirdest thing of all was that the bullies were all hyper progressive. I got picked on ruthlessly for the first three years of HS, but everyone left me alone completely when I came out. One guy even cornered me in by the lockers, and instead of my weekly asskicking he just high fived me.
