yes and no. mostly no. someone could easily make a supercut of all the scenes in the entire series that actually matter to the story, and I'd wager it would be like an hour long. it's total bullshit how much filler they have in this show. they've wasted so much time showing ants swarming ice cream on the concrete instead of getting to the fucking point before Mike keels over and croaks. now we're almost at the end of the series and they've done close to jackshit for character depth.

They keep the cartel shit to appeal to the BB smoothbrains. When my mom watches the show, she fast forwards through mike parts, they take away from the show when Saul isn’t involved. I’m certain the show wouldn’t be so popular if it was called Mike el Soldado and followed him. There’s no discovery with Mike, he is who he will become in BB, same with Gus. No one in his storyline has anything to discover, there’s no intrigue or investment unlike anyone in Sauls sphere of influence.

truthpilled, the only people defending the show's pacing at this point are the unironic "MUH COMFY!" posters. but i can't exactly blame the show itself because it's clear the writers ran out of ideas several seasons ago and are just slogging through the rest without much effort or soul
this season has felt like self-parody when you get to scenes like the ants eating ice cream, yet more lengthy and indulgent montages where nothing substantial happens, mike doing something menial for 25 minutes when it could have taken 5, etc
there better be some serious payoff for the last couple seasons, or i might have to go cough on bince and the writing team
