Demons and demon-human hybrids rule the world, with humans hiding and cowering in fear. Wielding magic in finite amounts and old relics are the only hope for their salvation. The God Hand has revealed their newest member: A version of Guts from the future.

Try Gungrave. Basic premise is it's a mafia story. It's extremely similar in a lot of ways to Berserk. The mundane beginnings, camaraderie, the op as fuck protagonist, the betrayal, the shit hitting the fan so hard normal humans may as well be bugs by the end. And every character acts adult or mature; no screeching 15yolds, etc.

But it's one of those shows where it starts at the end of the story and then flashes back to the start, so skip the first episode unless you want everything revealed.
