Because Ian Fleming wore a Rolex and he wrote Bond as wearing a Rolex in the novels. Then Omega became the new Swiss Luxury watch for the distinguished gentlemen and Rolex was thought as old hat.
So, did James love her or not? He kept trying to fuck Corona-Olga in quantum and then at the end he threw away her necklace.
You're such a cringelord, bro
The reason that Bond switched to Omega though is that Omega literally started paying them for product placement.
Fuck Omega, check my Texas Instruments Bitch.
No, 50€ soviet.
>watch
>20XX
Lmao.
Sorry, just driving through. Anyone want to know what time it is? I can check it on my OMEGA chronometer. LOL i mean watch, but really, it's just a better type of watch. It's ok, you can stare.
so Impressed by your knockoff watch.
She's got the greatest phenotype on Earth, only rivaled by maybe redheads.
>pale
>light eyes
>dark hair
>big tits
Even Batman agrees. Now go fap.
Oh this little thing? I dont think it could be a fake. This is the GMT version with the exhibition back. A counterfeiter would have to essentially make the whole movement just to fake it. And at that point you're just re-manufacturing an original. Not saying GMT's with exhibition back fakes dont exist, but they would be EXCEEDINGLY rare when they could copy a much simpler model and get the same money for it.
Buy the Grand Seiko Snowflake you poor faggot. Or if you really can't at least go for the SARB065 Cocktail Time for a better movement and an original dial.
>not even posting the pic.
Cant exceed that data plan huh cletus?
She’s a kike you idiot
Thanks for proving you have shit taste.
tbqh all Seiko is reddit except maybe the alpinist
That makes it much better
This is the Snowflake, you double-digit-IQ cuck.
what's the best watch to wear if i want to appear as wealthy and successful to normies wherein im in in fact neither
>Buy the Grand Seiko Snowflake you poor faggot.
>tbqh all Seiko is reddit
>i'm not that user!
what's your budget?
looks like a thrift store watch. that's what you're so buttmad about? some costume watch imitator?
$500
literally the watch I wear. i dont care fuck you
For me, it's Rolex.
Orient was putting out good stuff for awhile for around $100. but i wouldnt spend $500 on a watch. You either spend $1, $100, $1000, $2000 or $10,000+. The 500 dollar watch group is just full of shitters from companies who make watches out of garbage.
Omega makes cool designs, I just hate them as a company, completely soulless corporate monstrosity. Rolex will always be the real James Bond watch (especially considering that was what Bond wore in the books).
>Seiko's Presage series watches
>Orient's dress watches
>Hamilton's dress watches
>Frederique Constant's classics
>Tissot Le Locle
make sure you pick up an automatic with an open case back (i.e. you can see the movement). normies will be impressed by all the cool moving and spinning parts if you let them look at it.
I won't because I agree 110%
get a tissot
Interesting. I personally find Rolex's business model of relying on artificial scarcity and cutting costs on hand-finish to the max absolutely disgusting. All Rolex watches act as a reminder that the value is constantly more and more reliant on the herd mentality of people less interested in watches and horology (to me at least).
a beat up luxury item is 1000x more fashionable than a perfectly polished one.
Also, dont buy watches directly from the manufacturer or their direct distributors. A lot of companies like Orient will put MSRP at up to 4X the actual going price to try and catch the "durr, higher price means higher quality" crowd. Go on watch forums to get in contact with REPUTABLE distributors that charge actual prices and not MSRP.
I purchased for $500 barely used
>think its going to be evaposting
>they just talk about watches
spoken like a true /fa/gget.
See. Look at this user below. He fell for the $500 watch trap and now what does he have? He has a watch that makes people say "you paid $500 for THAT? My kid paid $50 for his Seiko" instead of "Oh wow, that watch looks neato burrito!" and in the end, that's all watch people need in the end.
>think its going to be a good thread
Whatever gripes you have about Rolex, literally every other company is 1000x worse. Rolex has never had the insane hand finishing like haute horlogerie companies have, they were historically an extremely well made and sturdy line of tool watches for regular use, whether it was a Submariner, a GMT-Master, or a Day-Date. WHereas most other companies are complete shells of what they were prior to the quartz crisis, Rolex actually kept their historical quality and still makes watches incredibly well with one of the most heavily funded factories in the world (Rolex isn't a normal business as it's 100% owned by the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation, so all profits get reinvested back in the company or go to charitable causes).
based, wearing the same watch right now
>I polish my watches like I polish my gf strapon!
Things are meant to be used you shithead, luxury should and must be able to take more abuse than regular watches
?? Why buy an expensive watch if not to be fashionable?
If you want a rugged accurate watch get a quartz movement, if you really are obsessed about impressing people and lack a personality besides the things you buy because you are new money trash, get a Swiss Mechanical Movement watch. Yes I appreciate the engineering of a mechanical watch but they are less rugged and accurate than a Japanese Quartz Movement.
>Japanese Quartz Movement
Why did you feel the need to qualify it with "Japanese"?
It's not what he said, it's how he said it. It's just simply /fa/g talk. If you cant see that then you're probably just a closet homo. Sorry pillow biters.
because Japanese Quartz is better than Inferior Chinese Quartz.
Based, wore the SARB035 until I bought SBGA211 on a holiday to Japan. Fuck paying VAT on that thing though, I wore the watch back and sent the box back home
Just get a Seiko 9F if all you care about is accuracy they are cheap and look decent but you aren't going to impress anybody.
