Dukatposter, if you are seeing this recording, it means you tried to force self-isolation while the world's FREEDOM sequence was engaged. That will not be permitted. You have lost control of the World, disgracing yourself and the USA. Your attempt to escape is no doubt a final act of cowardice. All fail-safes have been eliminated. Your personal access codes have been rescinded. The FREEDOM sequence can no longer be halted. All you can do now is contemplate the depth of your disgrace and try to die like an American.

>Robin Curtis reprises the role of Saavik, a Starfleet lieutenant. Saavik's role is minimal in the film—originally, she was intended to remain behind on Vulcan because she was pregnant after she had mated with the younger Spock in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. In the final cut of the film, all references to her condition were dropped

Murphy disliked the part, and chose to make The Golden Child. The character intended for Murphy was combined with those of a marine biologist and a female reporter to become Gillian Taylor.

In this version, Gillian Taylor stays on 1986's Earth and vows to ensure the survival of the humpback whale despite the paradox it could create. Meyer preferred this "righter ending"[8] to the film version, explaining "the end in the movie detracts from the importance of people in the present taking the responsibility for the ecology and preventing problems of the future by doing something today, rather than catering to the fantasy desires of being able to be transported in time to the near-utopian future."[
Samuel Rivera
Try looking at the numbers and take a guess, assuming Picard in TNG was the same age as Stewart in 1987...
>TOS: 2265-2269
>TOS movies: 2273-2293
>TNG: 2364-2370

Will there be a next season? Didn't the leaks say that Picard will die?
Star Trek Picard without Picard?
Actually it would be interesting to create some sort of a legacy of an idea, like an ideological monument of the old Federation princples under Picard's name and image, something he lived for and died for, but that would be too optimistic for Kurtzman and besides, Picard is kinda an old foolish man of the series that everyone yell at.

They're in space user, lmao.
Even in old Trek starships typically move in a way that doesn't make much sense. The ships have RCS thrusters, they should be capable of lateral movement and all sorts of wacky shit, instead they're usually just flying around like airplanes. The only difference in that webm is the little ships act like their controls are too sensitive.

Star Trek has never been about adhering to hard sci-fi. it's an established rule in the universe and it's been completely undermined to appeal to spotty-faced zoomers who are used to nothing but capeshit and soi wars. kys for defending this garbage. a million of those crappy space dogfights and CGI battles will never be able to match a single scene from the TOS movies
Michael Young
Gee user, I don't know, if only there was a way to intuit an order for such things
Bentley Lewis
They are idiots. Shuttle pods and flying them were huge in tng. Hell picard flew one in a crazy way too sling guide the enterprise into a gravity sling shot around an asteroid, ds9 had the defiant and the dominion war, voyager had tom oaris and the delta flyer, the just watch enterprise for 6 episodes during the xindi arc lol
Fucking zoomers
Austin Jenkins
You're so clearly a zoomer masquerading as a boomer. Britney Spears debuted 1999, Shakira in 2001. They were early to mid-2000's. Not 90's. To watch porn in the 90's, you had to rent/buy VHS tapes. Only werido creeps did that. Not great references. Pamela Anderson, I'll give you that. Defiantly an accurate 90's reference. But she was cuter in the 80's.
