Can it be done in live action?
Can it be done in live action?
It already was, and it was bad. They're trying again, though not as a movie, so maybe it'll be better. Probably not, though.
plz no game of thronification atleast
Well we had one attempt.
Entirely rests on the sfx budget. Also needs to not be pozzed. In fact, Korra’s politics and the showrunner’s politics were so bad, Aang should just have a scene where he smacks Katara on the ass and demands a kiss.
Ong!
No we didn't
What about a second attempt?
I don't think he knows about second attempts, Pip.
long answer yes, short answer no.
>Piss filter
Jackson Rathbone is relentlessly handsome.
no it will just be cringe, and it's totally unecessary.
Why didn't they just animate a season 4, people would adore that
If you're in charge of casting, what do you send out for them in auditions?
I never liked Azula and that excellent picture doesn't make me like her any better.
Scum.
phallus shaped staglamite
aloe vera lube
wrigleys mint
fireball whiskey
>doesn't ask his name until what was episode 3 in the series
This was actually the biggest WTF for me.
The script for the film makes no sense. It's baffling the guy that wrote Unbreakable wrote it.
God I hope so
She is way too perfect.
i have this fantasy of dominating azula, whipping her pussy red until it bleeds then forcing my dick in her ass. i just wanna turn her into a submissive little slave
Nailed it
>fantasy
Since Azula would not only introduce any Yas Forums type to pegging but make him like it it's refreshing to see you're such a realist, user.
It couldn't even be done as a cartoon , that show sucked dick !
No.
The seasons were 8+ hours long each
You could get 2 hours and 25 minutes of essential stuff out of them.
It was already done well as a cartoon, a live action remake is unnecessary
She looks better without makeup
It's true.
Looks like Aang
Couldn't disagree more with this specifically because Ty Lee looks so much more like him.
Not really? The only thing that's similar is the big ears and every character has those, it's the artstyle.
yeah she's got two eyes, a nose, mouth, etc...
as always
whenever I saw someone talking about avatar in 2009 I though they were talking about this shitty cartoon or the M Night Shamalong live action thing and I somehow missed all hype for this extremely anticipated movie. Didn't even know about this James Cameron flick until the first trailer dropped on TV
Avatar ruined me bros ;_;
No, there is Chinese girl on earth in the age range of Toph who could emote like she does. I would say it was one of the most unrealistic aspects of the show, possibly more unrealistic than the magic elemental powers. I would sooner believe the Japanese can shoot fire from their feet than believe a Chinese can emote.
I wrote a pretty detailed plan for a live action 5 film adaption a few years back.
Long story short, the first season is the hardest to adapt, I combined a lot of the separate allied groups into a combined “resistance” (I wrote this before TFA was released). So the Kyoshi warriors, Jeong Jeongs band, and Jets freedom fighters were all sort of factions in this large fragmented group.
Also I borrowed the North/South pole shortcut from Korra, so instead of the protagonists traversing the globe in a single film they just duck into the southern earth kingdom then duck back down to the South Pole to teleport to the North Pole for the finale.
The next two seasons are easier to adapt, two films each, each season has clear breakpoints (The Drill being the end of movie 2 and Day of Black Sun being the end of movie 4).
I said it before in another live action ATLA thread, but Toph is quite literally impossible to cast.
Not only do you need a pre teen Asian girl who can act well (asians can’t act well because they’re bug people with no understanding of human emotion) but you’d need a pre term Asian girl who can convincingly pull off martial arts while pretending to be blind.
She doesn't need to be Chinese, she can be Korean or anywhere East Asian really.
lewd
please post the levitating rock webm
bless ye
It's the lead dancer's overly hammy performance that makes it.
Nope.
The characters are too interesting, the setting is too colorful, and it was already done well enough in animation to not need a live action adaptation.
On that note, live action adaptations of anything other than books is fucking stupid. The only way you should ever even attempt such a thing is if it's a "side story" that shared the universe and maybe some characters, but that's it. An actual "remake" of the same story will always be an inferior product, especially when it's a live action remake of an animated piece.
What were they thinking?
No, it simply will not work. They'd leave too much out, the action won't be nearly as impressive, and the casting won't satisfy anyone. They'll fuck up the effects on the elements and pronounce shit wrong, cut characters, and minimize the presence of the more important ones. Watch they just skip Jet, or fuck up Iroh, or ruin Tales of Ba Sing Se, if they even do it. The worst possible route is if it somehow ends up being successful and they adapt Korra next
Friends, why do some people ship Katara and Zuko? Aang and Toph?
Voyeurism.
They watched the show.
>Friends, why do some people ship Katara and Zuko
bad boy with bland lead girl
The former is a better story and has more basis, the latter is just collateral.
it was already done
poorly
shippers are mentally ill and should be gassed on mass.
That's about it. It looks good in cheesy art.
no it wasn't :)
