Men In Black: The Series
Godzilla: The Series
Extreme Ghostbusters
Were these all made by the same studio?
Robocop the animated series too
Nice sentiment , but the problem with not having a good Western animation market to compete with anime is that anime ends up getting ruined by filthy creepy pedo otakus , and we have no alternative.
Remember Evolution: The Series? That studio made the best cartoons of the 90s.
All Japs and weeboos should be sent to the bottom of the fucking sea
>anime is one genre with one studio producing all the work
No. And, unironically thanks to Netflix, you're double wrong.
Name just 5 kino anime series that dropped in the last 3 years , I'll wait.
What's even the point in posting after this?
Yes, it happened 15 years ago
Trash series but better than most cartoons
the reason why anime is what it is is because of filthy creepy pedo otakus who buy more shit than sjws
This show isn't even a top 5 cartoon.
>tfw this is always the go-to answer for "What good Western cartoons are there?"
it WAS until netflix started making them.
now thats pozzed too.
>anime
>not tranny garbage
that's questionable
Aeon Flux, anyone? I'm still bummed we didn't get a revival after the crappy movie adaptation.
Obligatory coolest intro ever post:

>no one mentions Dr Katz
I'm assuming it would involve protectionism instead of outsourcing and keeping those countries poorer to maintain disney/wb level quality. But didnt someone develop a digital method which is then used to bridge movement gaps, it was shown in some short about a paper blowing away.
it was called the 80's and 90's
>80s
>good
That entire decade is carried by the first 2 seasons of Real Ghostbusters.
Not trying to be a snob as I enjoy what was released of the series, but dont think itd be picked up by a publisher because of its style. May need to somehow get funding directly from fans to demonstrate demand before any bigger studios bother branching into similar designs.
nu-anime is shit. just look at sword art online and how popular it got. attack on titan and one punch man season 1 are the only good recent anime to come out.
You got Cacani, which can auto tween key frames, and whatever they used on Klaus, some auto tweening proprietary thing. As an animator I badly want my hands on their tools but alas...
>franchise degenerates into tranny nigger bullshit
nothin personell kid
Anime was kino until moeblob tranny shit took over
Yeah I know. But I absolutely love the Schiele inspired drawing style of Peter Chung. Sad we don't get more of his stuff beyond the Riddick movie he did.
Massive paywalls?
What about memechine learning, has anyone found useful applications for automating those frames?
Western animation is doomed because TV execs are pussies that won't allow themes that fall too far away from their safespaces
>luckystar.jpg
2007 truly ruined everything
none of the kids i talk to know what wallace and gromit is
There's been some tries with AI and it kinda gets it right,, but it looks terrible. The software isn't expensive, cacani for sure isn't(but it's a little clunky), the Klaus stuff you need to basically be Spa studios for access AFAIK.
Don't talk shit about Re:Creator
Teen titans was way better
Anime has its own problems sure, but it's certainly not tranny political shit that not only corrupts the story and characters but the art style as well.
>only defense Yas Forums can give us that their Waifu is brown and started street fighting in season 3
Ugh
Yes we know , and i know about Richard Williams and les gobelins school of animation.
Don't assume you're the only one who knows shit , boomer.
You have shit taste and it shows. You have to dig a little deeper than the most basic shonen trash to find actually well made stuff.
Follow specific directors and animation studios.
FPBP
For all of its faults, I can’t ever hate Korra as much as Yas Forums does. With the exception of season 2, the animation is still leagues above any other western cartoon from the time. There’s some genuinely beautiful parts of that show, they’re just kinda ruined by 60% of the characters being annoying assholes and the end being rushed.
Is this show as good as i remember? i coudn't watch it because i had to leave for school right when its about to start, this into is all i seen and i liked it.
Yikes.
What the fuck are Cacani and Klaus using , if it isn't memelearning ?
How do you create an inbetweening software with conventional methods ?
Not in any way at all, and I say that as a fan of Teen Titans.
The worldbuilding and animation are better than pretty much any anime or cartoon I’ve ever seen.
greatest intro ever
You haven't seen much then. Your average Gundam has better world-building than Avatar The Last Airbender.
It's vector interpolation with some added bits. I'm surprised it's not used more!
i mean literal children user
>Don' assume
The problem i think its that its hard to find quality, most things are a copy of something else, nobody is writing from the soul anymore and thats why you feel so numb when watching modern animes, its like they are all following a formula.

>your average gundam
Gundam is a franchise that has pretty much had some kind of series or movie in production since 1979. No shit it has a more established world. It has like a million prequels and alternate timelines.
As a self-contained series that wasn’t already iconic before its release, it did an insanely good job of showing the way that its world worked.
that could be the case, increased competition leading to many studios avoiding risk and leaning on past successes of the industry. i dont know if this is retarded, but could it also be the internet increasingly provided the same inspirations to creators, leading to accidental homogenenizarion as well?
>pretty much had
Pretty much always had, I mean.
