The movie doesn't set you up to root for the bad guys at first. That's why they have the scene on the airplane so that they have the first negative portrayal. Kinda hard for a lot of the film to figure out what it was trying to say, but pretty clear by the end that it was making a point about picking and choosing "truths" based on whether or not they are convenient to your worldview.
Betty was awesome. She really needs to be in a proper action film. Like a new Alien or the next Bourne film if they make another.
