Pretty much.
Cameron was always too much on the emotional side, she empathized with patients a bit too much for realism's sake in my opinion, but I guess that's how they chose to write her character. This is exactly the reason why House and her will never work out, House largely saw this shit as unnecessary and I have to side with him on that.
Cuddy is the head of the hospital so her position dictates she has to keep her shit together under pressure, that's why she understands House's ways even though she largely disagrees with them.
