Khazar theory is debunked by genetics. Ashkenazis came about as a result of middle eastern Jewish males traveling to Italy, marrying local women, and then eventually migrating North to Central and eastern Europe. And of course they became endogamous once their population reached a certain size, otherwise they wouldn't exist as a population.

Khazaria was located in the general area of where modern day Ukraine is located, no? Does that not imply the same genetic stock that made the Ukrainians who they are today, also exists in khazarian stock, and by further extension, modern day ashkenazis?
So then they're more or less just europeans, no? Sure, an ashkenazi could have 1 great great great grandpapi that was jewish, but beyond that, how pure could they have really kept the jewish bloodline if they were constantly intermarrying with europeans?
