GOT THAT WMD
kino
Man I can't wait to have to aggressively shoot looting niggers because my city's police have stated they aren't enforcing basic law and order.
>ayo look at that lil nigga gettin his ass beat!
It rarely gets brought up, but this show has the best background dialogue of any television production.
GOT THAT ICU
It's also one of the funniest shows ever, despite all its serious social commentary etc. There's actually a lot of comedy.
>There is some charm to a woman in uniform. But the fact remains we work plain clothes in Homicide. Not to say that the clothes need be plain. For you, l would suggest some pantsuits muted in colour. Something to offset Detective Moreland's pinstriped, lawyerly affectations and the brash, tweedy impertinence of Detective Freamon.
RED TOPS
YELLOW TOPS
agreed, although i'm not a huge fan of the catchphrases
String got that pandemic fo sho.
>Cedric Daniels, but I mostly go by "Lieutenant"
YELLOW TOPS
>the hoppers trying to sell to bunny and he just puts his hat on
Best character, fight me.
Fuck me OP, im glad im not the only one who thought of this.
I bursted out laughing when i instantly thought of this when the news on the radio in the car said it was escilated to a pandemic.
I bursted into the living room when i got home and to my fiance i said "we got some paaaaandemic ova' here!" and my girl just looked at me like i was mad, as she never watched it.
Got that Rockefeller yo.
WMD right chya right chya
FUCK YOU, FAT MAN!
Only dummies will fight and disagree with you. I liked how he got to show of his acting skills with Buz' sad moment.
He was a pretty good John Goodman
Fuck you fatman...and I thought we were friends!
>I'm the father you never had, and I don't want to be disappointed in you ever again.
OMAR COMIN
I liked how absolutely everyone hated Bird. Omar seemed to have special contempt for him, even the way he just says "Birrrrd" when naming him, and going out of his way to put him in jail for life.
And of course he's so obnoxiously insulting that even Daniels joins in on a beatdown of him.
Who is actually the smartest character on the show? It's not McNulty or Stringer, that's for sure, though they're no dummies.
by a long shot, he's a legitimate genius
the comedy is less contrived than in the sopranos, which gave us
>he's an interior decorator
>christopher you pooped your pants
most underrated character
natural po lice
Probably either Norman or the other political fixer who worked for Mayor Royce - or maybe Terry Dagastino. Orrr maybe Prop Joe on the drug side.
DeTECtive...
Levy was up there.
Freamon is so far ahead of nearly everyone else that it has to be him, particularly as he doesn't have the severe self-destructive aspects of McNulty or the many blindspots of someone like Stringer or Prop Joe.
Maybe the Greek.
I liked the rare couple of times he threw down instead of remaining in office, like cracking a bottle across Bird's face when arresting him.
>bodie breaks cop car
attica! attica!
My bedroom.
he was maybe the most believable character
have been hearing “PANDEMIC” in my head like 4 times a day
Pro-meh-thus.
nice dolphin nigga
>ima try to help them motherfuckers find you
41 keks
>She gimme that pussy now she gonna take my shoooes? Shit ain't right
>Maybe the Greek.
It's probably the Greek. The closest they ever came to getting him was in Season 2, and even then he remained ahead of them.
>to them you're only "the Greek"
>and of course, I'm not even Greek.
He was the highest level criminal we saw in the series.
MONEY BE GREEN!
got that corona richeeere it'll mass quarantine your ass
Thing about Freamon is he's usually hamstrung by something anyway, like the case being limited in scope or interfering brass or incompetence by others. I feel like if he was given whatever scope he wanted with any budget for as long as he needed he could take down every gang and crooked business/politician in Baltimore.
COCAINE NIGGA
if he's such a high level criminal why was he hanging out in baltimore all the time? or is baltimore like a big place to smuggle drugs into the US?
>or is baltimore like a big place to smuggle drugs into the US?
It is a port city on the Atlantic, so it's going to be a significant entry point (especially if you've got the union in your pocket to look the other way while you do it).
>why was he hanging out in baltimore all the time?
We don't see him that much after season 2.
Omar is the best written character in the last 20 years.
i wanna be a neurosurgeon like that one nigga
>le invincible, homosexual, robbin' hood type nigga
one of the worst in the show in my estimation, no nuance to his character at all
The greek 100%
>im not even greek
Hes the only character that both has a moral code and sticks to it unfaltering , in many ways he has more depth than the rest of the characters
its a major port that is a couple hours from nyc and other large east coast cities, and it's most likely under less scrutiny because it's such a poor corrupt shithole. baltimore itself also has a large drug problem
Jimmy... Jimmeeh I need some of dat pussi
Look at that bowlegged motherfucker. I made him walk like that.
He's not invincible. It's all reputation. There's a reason he's just shot like anyone else when he lets his guard down and someone who isn't scared of him walks in.
BIG YELLOW BIRDS
Tater killed me.
