Good setting, good actors, funny moments. I wish they took the plot in a more supernatural direction instead of "question the actor's sanity" for an hour. Its not the best film ever made but I liked it especially if you like the lovecraftian kind of spookiness

I thought the director was really shit in portraying that. You could see Dafoe is already f up in the head because no sane person uses a beard like that and Pattinson wasnt sure he killed or didnt kill a person before the whole thing. Both were insane before the movie started

The academy doesn't give a fuck about good, they're just fashion whores chasing trends, and they already gave best picture to a quirky black and white film a few years ago so there's no novelty in it now.
