People should realize it's not a Christian movie BUT a Catholic movie. Much of the vision of the overly violent bloody images were inspired by the visions of a Catholic nun. Not saying Crucifixion was easy but they dragged the bloody side if it way beyond reality and also Mel Gibson has some kind of violence fetish clearly. It's an important movie and hopefully many were saved from it though. Of course Jew Hollywood hated it.
