11's long time on Trenzalore was probably a big reason for the PTSD 12 has, but 11's ending was pretty happy, all things considered
>he finally cements himself as 110% worthy of the title of Doctor by protecting a small defenseless town from endless armies for nearly a millenia, just because it's a matter of your principle
>so capable at what he does that old age kills him before his enemies can
>he gets granted a whole new set of regenerations and avoids death after all
>the town is safe and the armies repelled
>his bestfriend-gf survives the mess and is there with him in the end
>he gets to celebrate christmas, eat his last meal, and regenerate in peace, knowing that life will go on and everything will be alright
he was based

closest I can think of for nu-who is...basically nothing every 'historical' story heavily involves aliens rather then the historical event itself or even the setting all that is waved away in moments for the monster plot of the week

Is this the best who villain ever invented?

Zagreus sits inside your head,
Zagreus lives among the dead,
Zagreus sees you in your bed,
And eats you when you're sleeping.

Zagreus at the end of days,
Zagreus lies all other ways,
Zagreus comes when time's a maze,
And all of history is weeping.

Zagreus taking time apart,
Zagreus fears the hero heart,
Zagreus seeks the final part,
The reward that he is reaping.

Zagreus sings when all is lost,
Zagreus takes all those he's crossed,
Zagreus wins and all it cost,
The hero's hearts he's keeping.

Zagreus seeks the hero's ship,
Zagreus needs the web to rip,
Zagreus sups time at a drip,
And life aside, he's sweeping.

Zagreus waits at the end of the world,
For Zagreus is the end of the world.
His time is the end of time,
And his moment time's undoing.

>typing out his name in the title
You like to live dangerously don't you user?

just looked him up, so he's a carrionite with regenerations? sounds interesting

I don't watch fan-fiction so i'll take your word for it, another one is the ninth legion one, their is a monster and all but its mostly about picts vs romans

>I find it hard to imagine she's more important to him than his own children
you're not wrong, if the same thing happened to a member of his family during his time as 12, there's a good chance he'd go too far like he did in s9. but you have to remember even time lords have a bit of recency bias and tend to think less about things as it becomes ancient history for them. time heals wounds and weakens bonds, and that can be a good thing, he'd still sulk over sarah jane leaving or about donna's mindwipe if this weren't the case. at the time of S9, his main 'companion' has been clara and they obviously cared about each other too much for anyone's good.

Pretty much, except using words when countering him can do much more than just kill or weaken a person

he's definately one of the best BF ones.

I think Evelyn made sure that he doesn't cause any more problems

He does have that aura of mystery that Doctor and rest of the Time Lords unfortunately lost a long time ago

EXCELLENT!

I have a problem with Big Finish and it's this -

It's so fucking twee. And maybe that's a bad reason to dislike anything Doctor Who, which is so British it shits tea. But I listened to Spare Parts recently and while some bits were genuinely haunting and disturbing (the converted girl coming home to her family, only able to cry through her voicebox), it was sort of cunted up by all the weird Anglophilic 50's shit. It's hard for me to take the far-off fucked-up dystopian future seriously when everybody sounds like they're out of an episode of Open All Hours.

Why the fuck didn't they bring back Steven Hall to write more episodes?

You're asking why there are English people in it?

That is like bitching about how in anime everyone in the future speaks Japanese? Relax dude its an anglo program so everyone is anglo. No big deal

what a weird criticism

But it's not set in England in the 50's, it's set on fucking Mondas. Yet everybody acts like they're in a fucking British radio soap.
No, I'm complaining that an alien civilisation has been depicted as a bad episode of Coronation Street

lol podcasts

You mean,

"Ee bah gum, our Doreen's a bloody sahberg, like"

"Cyberbread? Cyborgs? In BREAD?"

What can I tell you its a British universe and everyone else is just living in it.

What do people on Mondas sound like?

Mond-asians, obviously

British, same as people from the Boeshane Peninsula sound merican

We are STILL in Heaven Sent. 12 has hallucinated this whole shitty Chibnall scenario as his ghastly future, to mentally punish himself for letting his waifu die in that alley. In reality, he's still breaking through the wall.

Attached: k.png (1144x637, 1012.86K)

I wonder what Heaven Sent would've been like if Moffat went through with it a while back and made it an 8th Doctor episode

Think I'm still in Paradise Towers.

also got to fuck eva green the whole time his waifu was away

>Steven Hall wrote the audio stories The Word Lord and A Death in the Family, both featuring Nobody No-One. He intended the story Fifty-Fifty to be the final part of his Big Finish "trilogy", but due to its potential cost, the story remains unproduced
how the fuck does one audio "potentially cost more" then another? unless its a matter of guest stars that just doesn't make sense

What is the best Cyberman voice? For me it's either this or the one from The Tenth Planet.

It is strange but also extremely fucking sad considering it would have probably been one of the best who episodes ever written and definitely the best multi doctor story

Think it's the number of actors they would have to employ. Big Finish do actually run on quite a limited budget.

Tenth Planet. There's just something wrong about it.

How did they afford Zagreus then? I imagine something like that costing way more than Fifty-Fifty

>brags constantly about being the doctor's waifu but turns out to be an inconsequential psychotic wine aunt while a womanlet schoolteacher turns out to be the doctor's waifu instead
oops, sweetie :^)

so it is about paying the Doctors? thought so only thing that makes sense

And all of the other actors.

one assumes the Docs get the biggest pay check, as for compaions and extras, how much does a retired tv actor literally phoning it in really cost?

freindly reminder shes still alive as a digital ghost and probably watched as 12 bent clala over the tardis console, over and over and over again

i feel bad for alex kingston, moff really bungled writing her character after library

I remember hearing their VNA's adaptations were some of their more expensive stories, because of all the actors they had to get to play the different characters. Your average BF story actually has quite a limited cast if you think about it.

god i wish i could see that

Guys who is the best doctor? And why is it McGann?

Attached: bestone.jpg (452x678, 34.75K)

that means less not more though, if one actor is playing 5 characters you are only paying one, not 5, one for 5 roles which adds to cost but still it must be less then hiring 5 separate voice actors

btw since he could see her every so often he'd look straight at her and whisper "spoilers" just before cumming, just so you know

>McGann
really funny spelling of McCoy

Attached: unnamed.jpg (443x512, 68.56K)

That costume is so shit compared to his original one. Doesn't really suit Eight's character at all.

I would say he's on par with pic related

Attached: patrick-troughton-second-doctor-who.jpg (1600x1583, 273.3K)

I can see it as a sort of "fuck this shit I'm tired" look, after losing Lucy. I haven't actually listened to a lot of those later audios though, so I don't know where they take his character.

Tomb of the Cybermen voice is my fave

So did Chibnall really manage to make Doom Coalition and Ravenous non cannon?

Attached: large.jpg (600x600, 126.02K)

chinball is non-canon so I don't see how thats possible

Also he activally dont remember his family.
2 talks about it a little: youtube.com/watch?v=qaDw79__VRc
Its not even malicious. He is old as fuck.
Clara is someone that he can help right now (for selfish reasons) that he has the power.

he is good but not that good.

i dare you to post a cuter tardis pair

Do the Who actors who do Big Finish tend to like doing the audio stories? Or do they phone it in for easy money?

The Doctors certainly like it from what I can tell.

Well, McGann designed his own costume, and no one told him to do it.
