Yes it is but it shouldn't be.

>lacking empathy for all of Gods children
Clear sign of psychopathy. Like how those who murder dogs and cats as kids growing up to become serial killers.

get a clue
hit the weights
seek sunlight
gain testosterone
have sex

Yeah what a weak subplot. As if a bunch of alghan war vatniks would be squeamish shooting stray doggies. Typical liberal Hbo trash writing

Dumbaas it was the young city-kid who was squeamish the afghan soldiers were completely fine and just tried to help the kid.

Nah even they were hurr durr don’t let them suffer. Irl they wouldn’t give a fuck

edgy faggot detected

The kid learning to kill dogs was alright but the miners were much more interesting yet they gave them 2 scenes. A fucking disgrace since those miners worked in a much more dangerous enviroment than the fucking afghan vets

>lying is bad never lie!!!
>lie about the "bridge of death" among other things

They haven't lied about a single thing.

>umm I didn't really care when the people died, but I felt really bad for the dogs.........

liar

Because the first guy he killed was with a gut shot which is a painful long way to die.
He knows you can't avoid killing, but you can help avoid needless suffering.

That's Chad as fuck.

Being raised wrong isn't chad

Samefag

>That's Chad as fuck.

>feeling superior to other humans
>being compassionate to lesser beings
Ubermensch as fuck.

American anti-communism propaganda, OST was kino though.

USSR wasn't communist because sex reassignment surgery wasn't free or even encouraged.

But gender politics are a product of capitalism, user. The whole movement started off in the US.

Shut up fag

because it requires comfort to care about that shit

weimar

Their portrayal of Bhyukanov is P unfair, home boy had no chance and no way to affect anything, and was pretty much just used as a scape goat. And then the miniseries just makes him an evil bad mad who is totally the sole reason things are as bad as they are.

The one good thing about this show is it made me want to learn about the actual disaster more.

"People" who never practiced shepherding will never understand.

God doesn't exist, chistcuck. The closest you have to a God is the Chinese.

great thread kys

Kinda got the idea that Dyatlov was evil and bad while Bryukhanov was just a bit retarded.

Which is even worse because in real life Dyatlov and Bryukhanov were very competent and absolutely not evil in any capacity

>and absolutely not evil in any capacity
Sounds sarcastic.

>very competent
how did they blow up a nuclear reactor then makes you think

>tfw you will never be on the dog shooting detail
fuck dogs

You're paid based on how much power you produce. Your employer is also your government. Your government/employer will punish you for missing any deadline or quota. You're literally told it is impossible for the reactor to explode. None of your instruction manuals say that doing X will make it unstable, it just says "don't do this" without explanation.

>pregnant woman goes through losing her husband and baby all offscreen
>puppers getting put down just like every single day at the pound gets over half the episode
Worst episode by far. The writers thought a bunch of dogs being put down for mercy would be more dramatic and emotional than a woman losing her firefighting husband and their baby. Fuck jews.

>pregnant woman goes through losing her husband and baby all offscreen
Now that you mention it, how did Ulana know that she was pregnant? I don't remember any scene with the two of them together before the KGB one.
Except for her first appearance, all of Ulana's scenes seems quite off, at least to me.

Most people didn't want to be in Afganistan, and even more so people didn't want to be in Chernobyl

Why even were they shooting the animals? It's like radiation exposure is contagious, they're not gonna give people radiation rabies or anything.

The sequences with the vets and the kid hunting dogs was the best part of the whole series.
That scene where they sit at the table in an abandoned city underneath a banner promoting "the happinessof all mankind" as nature reclaims the world around them on a bright and sunny day, had more meaning than anything that happened at that stupid power plant the whole series.
The nature of war, lose of innocence, and the fragility of life all illustrated with 3 charatcters and minimal dioluge is kino and you fags can't understand it.

user did you path health class? women stop having periods when they have a bun in the oven

>It's like radiation exposure is contagious
Radioactive fallout is a physical object, that sticks to fur. And yes, if you carry highly radioactive graphite particles away from the place they came, they are still highly radioactive.

>It's like radiation exposure is contagious
The whole show seemed to imply that it is.

Dogs and cats are annoying and filtht nusiances who's appeal is only toward disgusting weak retards who are literally so stupid they find kinship with a brainless animal that was bred to be an obedient slave, and which would eat their owners in a heartbeat if they could.

Pet owners are the shittiest people in any society.

Wasn't the whole area fenced off? They could just let them live and die in there. There's a finite amount of fallout that can stick to an animal, and once it dies and is eaten by small critters and birds, the amounts of radiation they could carry out of the zone is negligible.

The doggo plot and the whole firefighter plot felt like they heard a story that they wanted to really stick in despite it not really fitting with the rest of the show. Both seem like they should go somewhere but they never do so they just end up feeling like useless filler that sticks out. The doggo one was even worse because it was completely made up and all the characters were badly written caricatures.

Ridiculous contrast to the miners who are also comical caricatures but it's kept short enough and it actually has a place in the overall story so it works perfectly.

>Wasn't the whole area fenced off?
Checkpoints on the roads isn't "fencing off"
>They could just let them live and die in there.
Ah yes, a city full of starving radioactive dogs. Truly nothing bad will happen
>There's a finite amount of fallout that can stick to an animal
Yes, and it's more than enough to kill you, and your whole family
>and once it dies and is eaten by small critters and birds, the amounts of radiation they could carry out of the zone is negligible
Bruh.

Radioactive particles are dangerous for hundreds of years, and a tiny speck can still give off insanely high doses. What happens when the small critters are eaten by bigger creatures? What happens when the insects disperse across the continent? What happens to the radiation once it's in the ground or water?

>Yes, and it's more than enough to kill you, and your whole family
Lol stop getting your knowledge from comic books.

>What happens when the insects disperse across the continent? What happens to the radiation once it's in the ground or water?
It's gonna be diluted to the point it's less than background radiation.

Just another example of loss from the accident. Did you not notice the kid smoking at the end? Despite the autistic screeching in this thread, some people have empathy for animals.

Ah yes, Mr Radiochemist. Please show me in your science books where it says that a small amount of graphite can't be highly radioactive. I would love to learn today.

Cunts like you probably would not have done your ninety seconds either. Sometimes I wonder if we don't need a small dose of stalinism to weed shits like you out of the genepool.

The dogs weren't contaminated by pure graphite you idiot, but the same fallout that left the zone by air, unhindered, covering half of eastern Europe and causing what, statistically marginally elevated cancer rates?

You really are dumb.
I never said "pure graphite". The fallout that was carried by air were the lighter particles. Graphite particles are heavy, they fall like rain.
I really shouldn't have to explain this. Go read Midnight in Chernobyl or Chernobyl: History of a Nuclear Catastrophy, there is literal data on what fallout was carried where.

If you are seriously trying to argue that a large dog can't carry enough radiation to be dangerous, you should reconsider your choices.

>you can actually adopt chernobyl dogs that have been living and breeding in the area for decades and are now non-radioactive
Interesting.

seek Jesus user, He loves you

Thats what made the show unbelievable. Like russians would have any kind of empathy towards animals, lmao.

Based midwit

Hitler loved dogs and was a serial killer
Inb4 meme antisemitism

Hitler never killed anyone though. The worst they could get him for would be kidnapping.
