TRUE AMERICAN COINS FOR TRUE AMERICANS
National Socialism
>citizenship to gauls. rome was very progressive.
If you want Mexicans to be citizens then American can invade them and plant the banners of America Invictus on barbarian soil for good.
Socialism, capitalism...as long as men continue to receive their bread and circuses.
Based Futurist Andrew Yang campaigning for neetbux
>wait, isn't a special measure taken only during an unprecedentedcatrosphic global emergency situation socialism
No, it's not.
Why do Jews act like this and then wonder why people hate them?
cisalpine gallic citizens in the republic, and yet US territories cannot vote. all I can say is ave, caesar imperator.
>yang wants to "give" people 2k
>NO YOU CAN'T DO THAT IT'S COMMUNISM
>trump wants to "give" people 2k
>omg thank you daddy cheeto, god bless america
Yes, and those are the exact same scenarios, there is literally no nuance or difference, Yang definitely wasn't suggesting we just do this, for no reason, forever, and trump is definitely not just doing it becuase of the global pandemic catastrophe.
NOPE. exactly the same.
Temporary aid during a crippling global disaster is a little different than eternal welfare designed to make people generationally dependent on the government.
Yes it is
bloomberg could have given us all $1 million
I hope we get our Trump bucks before Bernie drops out so all the Bernouts throw theirs down the drain after reading a "HERE'S HOW HE CAN STILL WIN" post on leddit.
>car literally broke down the same day i was told my job will be closed for an estimated 4-6 weeks
>only have 700 dollars in account
>luckily all bills paid
Time to spend my corona bucks on a beater.
>give two trillion dollars to banks
>no debate, no legislation, no outcry
>give 2 grand to Americans
>HOLY SHIT SOCIALISM WTF HOW DARE YOU!
>durrr
The 1.5 trillion that went to banks was short term loans to provide liquidity after a sudden, massive stock crash. It wasn't dude free shit lmao. It will be repaid and it made sure our financial system kept functioning in a time of crisis.
If he does a bunch of FDR shit, I might actually vote for him
>repaid
It's literally just numbers on a computer, the banks are too powerful to be accountable to anyone.
>short term loans
>financial system
Yeah what a great system we have, remember 2008?
>it will be repaid
liquidity? they dont have emergency money like every person out there?
yea when their empire turned to shit they bought of plebs with bread and circuses like they're doing now
the hero we donn't deserve and didn't realize we needed right now
Did you see her play the race card after? Because of course she did.
Whether or not we should have this system is a separate discussion, and I personally wouldn't mind suffering through a collapse and starting over. Fractional reserve banking is the backbone of our financial system and it's total cancer. But burning it all down is not something the government will ever choose to do, so they did the most logical thing to keep the current system afloat and ultimately protect the financial health of Americans.
No they don't, look up how fractional reserve banking works. Also most people don't have much emergency money which is why we're getting Trump bucks.
Based Trump buying votes. He understands the essence of democracy.
>Yang definitely wasn't suggesting we just do this, for no reason, forever
I want to allow you to clarify your position. Do you really think Yang's proposition was to give out money "for no reason, forever"?
Isn't that guy pissed off to hell and back with the rest of the band?
It wouldnt even be if it were a permanent thing though.
Well he DID hope it would get him elected i guess.
Yes, that is indeed the scene OP was making a joke of. Good job, sport!
lmao no it wasn't it was a straight up bailout.
The fed literally went into their accounts and added a few extra zeroes. They've been doing it silently with every slump since Obama's bailouts. It's written into the legislation retard.
I know he just makes gay paintings in the city and will never make music again, that could be why though
Is that your final and definitive take on Yang's freedom bux?
>emergency money
Even people making 70k/year don't have those thanks to the modern debt culture.
>indebt yourself for luxury cars, holidays, homes, other shit you don't need so your credit score gets even better and you can get indebted even more to impress your peers
>3% mortality disease appears
>well fuck
Also, stats say 80% of people in USA(but it's actually most first world countries) live paycheck to paycheck.
>Even dumb people making 70k/year don't have those thanks to the modern debt culture.
There, I fixed it for you. No need to thank me.
Guess who is needed for consumism to work? Dumb people getting installments plan for a fucking iPhone while they work minimum wage and people like that but richer and with bigger things than iPhones.
Or do you think people making appropriate choices is something good for an economy based on useless shit?
>people stop watching F&F tier movies, movie economy crumbles
>people stop spending $1000 for a phone they don't need
>niggers on welfare stop buying air jordans
>kids stop playing videogames 12 hours/day and study instead
>people stop drinking soda which is 100% bad for you
You can see where I'm going with this.
do i still get this even if i had no job
While I for one supported Yang's freedom bux that user is correct in that the situations are different. Trump and the Government are issuing a two-time stimulus check to help support people that are being put out of work, losing hours, and struggling due to a pandemic in the hopes they can pay bills and buy things to lift the economy.
Yang wanted to give people what was essentially a second paycheck that would continue through adulthood. There's a massive difference.
Wait a second, it's just 2k once and that's it? How does this help small business owners and professionists who are indebted for way more than that?
Yas Forums memes may not be that much, but they're always high class.
It's 6 billion dollarodos injected into the economy
Its more about the average person then the business owners right now. From what I read they didn't want to bail out businesses outright because that doesn't help the people who aren't working.
>steal my money
>give some of it back
>supposed to be grateful
That's still socialism, retard. Suddenly handouts are good when it hits your own bottom line, huh.
If the government can just print money why pay taxes?
>not the super saiyan edit
I also think the situations are different, but not that different. And I wanted to give the guy a chance to definitely state his opinion so he doesn't come back with greentexts accusing me of misrepresenting him or mistaking his hyperbole for a serious statement, but he doesn't really seem to have an opinion other than thinking Yang's proposition was "for no reason" or "to get elected".
The point of America bux was to give the middle and lower class a lifeline and a boost in spending power in the face of massive layoffs due to automation outmoding a lot of unskilled labor. Sure, the situation is different right now where people can't work due to the coronavirus shutting everything down, but the broad strokes are largely the same:
People aren't working and can't generate income.
Reform inefficient tax policies to give people money so they can still provide for their families and spend money in some capacity.
I'm all for Trump doing what he's doing, even if he's only stepping on the gas now because he's botched the rest of the virus response. I'm also definitely not very in-the-know when it comes to politics, but it's annoying as shit when someone on Yas Forums is so far off base about basic facts you could take two seconds to google.
How are we supposed to receive this payout, through a fill form?
Yup. Direct deposit. Though if Chuck Schumer has his way no one gets shit. See:
>low interest loans
>low
Never about helping people always about loans. It's literally the only way they see the world: As a grift
But the broad-strokes really aren't the same because you're ignoring what makes the two so different. Yang wanted that money to continue, while Trump is only issuing this twice. Yang's was due to automation and would have been in addition to an employed adults paycheck, Trump's is due to the CDC shutting down businesses for a few weeks to help people that won't be getting paid and even some that will so they can put more money into the economy.
>Yang's was due to automation and would have been in addition to an employed adult's paycheck (assuming they haven't been laid off or been made obsolete by automation and still have jobs)
>Trump's is due to sickness and would have been in addition to people who are still working (because lots of people are still working since they can work from home and lots of restaurants have started delivery/take out incentives)
See? The biggest difference is the scale of time.
Which is a MASSIVE difference you dumb fuck. That's why conservatives are for Trump's one/two time plan and not for Yang's long-term every month plan. Trump's plan is more akin to a second tax rebate like the one Bush did during his presidency.
If the lockdown continued for the entirety of the 18-month period the federal plan outlined, would you be in favor of more "one or two-time" stimulus packages?
