>says the show is great >bigs up lucas' original vision for Star Wars >says Mando is better than every Disney film (Solo,Rogue One, Sequel Trilogy) >loved Baby Yeed >said the show actually made them feel emotions >even thought some of the Prequel references were neat (super battle droid, repair bots, and mandos prequel looking ship)
Absolutely based. Have you apologized to George yea and sang praises to John Favreau?
Not shopping on Youtube for opinions, I'll tell you that much.
Carter Hernandez
compared to nuwars? yeah mandalorian IS great. Getting back to this simple story about a ronin is exactly what the OT is all about. Nothing in the prequels or the nuwars is archetypal.
Connor Hall
>said the show actually made them feel emotions ? is this an autist thing?
Aaron Flores
The way you type seems to be.
Carter Wood
The Mandalorian fucking sucked every episode was worthless because the plot moved at a snail's pace if you could even call it a plot.
Ryder Anderson
It's not kino. In fact it's extremely mediocre, safe and bland.
But the bar is so low for media and Star Wars especially that it ends up looking like a beacon for quality.
Joseph Cox
It was always ment to be an episodic throwback to serial westerns of ols. Zoomers like yourself were simply filtered hard by it as you have no clue what the even means. It's actually kinda cute desu if not a little embarrassing. Funny everyone who got what they were going for immediately enjoyed it lmao
Josiah Hernandez
>s-slow plot >tfw spoiled by Netflix and too dumb for throwbacks
Yup I apologized when he did. Sent a personal letter to the lucas estate
Brandon Reyes
It’s better than the witcher.
Jayden Myers
>>said the show actually made them feel emotions These clowns don't feel emotions as they're incapable, not to mention anyone who's watched this show knows they're are lying because it's basic bullshit just like this user said lol
If they thought it was shit, rich would have said it from the jump. He is the most honest when in comes to SW shit. And they were itching to talk about it instead back in their tros review. I doubt they are lying. Certainly not rich. Get real
Ian Diaz
Not an argument. Your implication that others cant like what you dont is still an embarrassing cope. Thats not how the real world works son. Sorry
Camden Young
>honest when in comes to SW shit. It's supposed to look honest and real but it's not, far from it actually. Don't drink the nuwars juice user especially if it tastes like bland boring shite.
To be honest, the Mandalorian was made on the approach they assumed Star Wars Sequels could work (Lucas is ideas guy, JJ Abrams is directing). And Mandalorian is the taste of exactly that, George Lucas has reportedly been on the set while the show was being filmed and Jon Favreau shared with some wisdoms George Lucas shared with him which shaped the direction of the show. Dave is also a long time collaborator with George, he knows what George is all about.
Meanwhile Sequel Trilogy is George Lucas-less. Mandalorian is what could've been if it wasn't for JJ Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy's sheer fucking hubris.
Angel Smith
I always chuckle when I see actual non meme autism. Embarrassing
Isaiah Howard
Yep, thanks for confirming you absolutely have no idea lol.
Agreed. It felt right in line with the old spirit of George. Took his ideas, rooted out the fluff and put a refined hand to it. Surprise surprise, a simple plan like that worked. Who would have thought?
Tho now im curious to see how the next wave of star wars films responds and how Mando season2 responds as well
Jason Campbell
A yo shout out to the real one. That my little nigga baby yeeeeed tho
Can I ask something about this show? I just watched it the other day and...
What was the point of it? Narratively, I mean, what was the point of the show? Because from what I can tell it's just about a faceless bounty hunter with no friends who decides to upend his whole life by saving a baby Yoda on Bounty Planet or whatever the fuck it was called, and then...like 8 episodes of absolutely nothing happen where he farts around the galaxy and his ship breaks down and gets rebuilt like three times, and he doesn't really accomplish anything, and then he just goes back to Bounty Planet with some friends, but in the end they just stay there, and he flys away with Baby Yoda in the exact same situation he was in circa episode 2. Nothing has changed, the big evil dude is still after him and the Yoda, he still has no friends, nothing about his situation has improved or progressed.
So what the fuck was the point of the actual show if literally every minute after the 2nd episode was just filler?
Matthew Russell
You're right, he's definitely one of them, you can see with posts like this lol
>Black Bounty Hunter Man was just a less charismatic Billy Dee Williams and if I didn't actually see his face I would 100% confuse his voice for Lando. >He kept saying "Mando" which I literally never didn't hear as "Lando" which was even weirder. >Gina Carano was actually ok, despite being criminally underused. >Literally every single moment of the episode with the shitty gang was a waste of time and their characters were awful.
How does a lack of plot progression "filter" someone? That's what I need you to explain. Are you saying it's intentionally bad and you're a retard if you can't figure that out? You don't need to say "hurrr it's a throwback to classic serials lol you dun even no wat thos are!" like, nigga we know what self-contained episodic TV is, this isn't a fucking new concept.
You know that there are hundreds of shows out there with self-contained episodic stories, that also manage to string along major plot progression and character arcs at the same time, right? That is a thing that you're allowed to do. You don't HAVE TO make bad TV.
Wyatt Morales
It did for a bit. They werent expecting mando to be as well received as it was. Tros travesty really put them over. But then new "high republic" and ep9 novelization shit came out and they caught a line to do more shilling
Alexander Diaz
Give it a rest retard. You were already told once kid
Logan Hill
Ironic shitposting is still shitposting.
Nicholas Hill
God it's been like 4 years since I have seen that gif where does the time go
Carter Wilson

Embarrassing. When did the US let their zoomer population get outta control? What the fuck went wrong?
The first few episodes were good but then the show shit itself in episode 4 and then 5 and 6 were even shittier but then it got slightly better towards the end.
Jack White
Precisely why you should call it a night with your worthless blogposts son. You were filtered, we get. Keep it moving
Jace Perry
Ironic shitposting is still shitposting.

Mandalorian is ass, because it is an action series with incompetently filmed and tone-deaf action. The MC's competence flip-flops from that of a gritty space western's MC to whom two guys with blasters are a non-insignificant threat, to that of a comedy action movie dork MC who gots rekt by random wildlife, to that of Marvel flick's MC who can run into a compound full of goons and kill them all with no difficulty. This kills stakes in any given encounter and sense of the consistent world.
Jonathan Morris
dont let the door hit you on the way out :)
Justin Cruz
I love the idea that a TV show being shit in some way is meant to filter out those not worthy of watching it. Is just writing a filter, or are bad CGI, bad acting, bad cinematography, bad pacing, etc. also filters?
Also the concept of being filtered implies not being that, and getting to the end is an accomplishment that others can't achieve, and watching a fucking TV show is not an accomplishment.
Landon Nguyen
Jesus Christ. The stupidest thing I’ll read all day.
Trying too hard Not trying hard enough. Point to me what poster in this thread hurt you? You clearly didnt want to reply to him directly lmao
Benjamin Roberts
I think the weird thing to me is that the writing never actually knew whether Mando understood the limits or protection capabilities of his own armor. Because unless I missed a scene, literally 100% of all blaster shots that hit him, bounce off his armor and he's never actually injured by a blaster at any point. He even takes not one, but two ostensibly high-power sniper rounds to the chest (one of which he says he was lucky to survive thanks to the distance allowing his armor to stop it, but the second was much closer and it stopped that just fine too), and yet his armor's ability to deflect shots never seems to play into his fighting style at all and he seems to constantly be undervaluing it's protection.
You'd think that after all the shit he went through in the series, he'd basically just be of the opinion that he's functionally invincible to most all blaster fire, and act accordingly.
Christopher Gonzalez
