>be matt and trey
>oscars are so bullshit haha we don't care about anything we're high on acid lmao
>lose to Phil Collins
>proceed to shit on him whenever possible
what was their fucking problem?
>be matt and trey
>oscars are so bullshit haha we don't care about anything we're high on acid lmao
>lose to Phil Collins
>proceed to shit on him whenever possible
what was their fucking problem?
I have to assume they were just joking around and they weren't seriously assblasted about it. If they were that's kind of sad. Just by getting nominated they already got to go to the Oscars and watch Robin Williams perform "Blame Canada" live, who gives a shit about a little trophy?
>who gives a shit about a little trophy?
People in Hollywood are incredibly vain and self-absorbed.
They're posers
booboo, budio
>NOOOO YOU CANT MAKE FUN OF MY BORING SYNTHPOP IDOL
lmao those episodes are hilarious
They always said they never cared except about Phil Collins. I'm pretty sure Parker is a Peter Gabriel guy
he was a ripper of a drummer before he made dentist office pop user
that's when I started writing really GREAT songs!
What I've always been curious about is why they hate Ben Affleck so much.
I liked the retard voice they used to imitate him though. oy mean reeally
>YOU'LL BE INSIDE OF MEEEE
>DEEP INSIDE OF MEEE
>WOW , THANK YOU
Cuz it was funny
I miss old South Park. When it was fueled by youth and cocaine
Because it's funny.
Well I'm pretty glad they're butthurt by losing to phil collins because that episode is one of my favs
Phil Collins > Peter Gabriel
okay user here's your (You) now tell me why you think that.
enjoy this if you havent before user

Sledgehammer, Gabriel's most popular and prolific song is one long string of innuendos. In the Air Tonight, Collin's greatest (arguably) song has depth and emotion, it builds and climaxes whereas Gabriel's Sledgehammers drones on repetitively. Gabriel himself is merely a singer (yes he can play the guitar but relegated himself to vocals) whereas even in his solo era Phil would employ his talents as a drummer.
>Kurt Loder didn't just say that
>no wait, Kurt Loder DID just say that, because he's cool
>you think Kurt Loder is cool
Sure but why compare in the air tonight and sledgehammer? Gabriel plays piano/keyboards and does so plenty on his solo albums.
I read an interview they did that thry hated the fact they lost to Phil Collins, but they both admitted he could really fucking play the drums.
They did this joke and a Phil Collins ski mountain, but that was it, I think.
That isn't unique, a number of pop musicians played the keyboards, it is babby's first pop music instrument. Meanwhile there are very few drummer/vocalists.
The best South Park episodes are the ones where they shit on celebrities
this could be much better bait if you knew how to talk to people better
Phil Collins hill in the Hate Crime/Sledding episode, but was that before the movie?
You haven't provided any arguments as to why you think Gabriel is better.
I like his work a lot more, from which genesis albums I prefer to which of the two's solo albums I put on more often. What the hell do you want from me you socially maladjusted spacker?
I think it was either during or post filming
So, was this the most based ending to a South Park episode, Yas Forums? How did Matt and Trey think of something THIS based?
>spacker
Why do you English have such garbage taste? Or are you an Ausfag?
Didn't this air 16 years ago?
What is your problem?
who do you like better, peter gabriel or peter hammill?

>you fucking dumb bitch Wendy
Ngl that track was funky.
funkier than this?

In your eyes > sledge
explain
kek, In Your Eyes is sleepy time music for boomers
its still fueled by cocaine. the youth has ran out, though.
they could still make youthful content if they would jsut start a new IP.
nobody will care about their new IP though, and no studio wants to work with them anymore.
they're also almost in their 50s now. the youth is gone.
phil collins was at one point one of the most hated musicians
pretty much every musician shat on him. david bowie, oasis etc people really hated his commercial success for some reason
Phil Collins is fine. But South Park was all about airing out Trey Parker's petty grudges against random celebrities. Like Streisand for shittalking Colorado or the two parters about Dawkins and Family Guy.
only truthful statement on this site
That is nice, thanks. Never heard of that guy. Oh, he's from King Crimson! Very nice indeed.
These are the same two people who dedicated two whole episodes to seething about Family Guy. They are incredibly self absorbed.
Literally everyone treated Ben Affleck as a walking joke at that point in time.
Say what you want but Disney's animated Tarzan movie with the Phil Collins soundtrack was the absolute peak of animation
I remember my dog being absolutely transfixed with the trashing the camp sequence.
In the Air tonight isn't really about anything either though. Both songs have ambiguous lyrics, and intend to communicate pretty much completely different things...an odd comparison. In the Air is wonderful but sledgehammer is a better hit.
based
YOU'RE DEEP INSIDE OF ME
DEEP INSIDE OF ME
it's "you'll be inside of me / deep inside of me / so deep i can feel you pressing up against my heart"
>They are incredibly self absorbed.
very likely. now what does that make us for having such a limited and autistically repetitive range of thread topics?
David Bowie was a luciferian. Oasis is just shit.
what does that have to do with bowie not liking phil collins
That's just tasteless. I pity anyone for whom the idea of Phil Collins experiencing such deep anal penetration is a source of humor.
Propped up by the music industry.
bowie wasn't?
He was, mostly after he started catering to the burger audience.
so '74 then?
