About damn time.
The Blingprise?
Based old/trek/ patrician making a new thread comfortably past bumplimit
I know, that's what I said. Still dislike HMS Hood being named. Cursed ship. UK really suffered ship wise in WW2. I mean, yeah, they had such a large fleet you're bound to lose shit. But they lost fuck loads where Germany barely lost anything.
>Star Trek but it's a horror movie about an away team
Would you watch it?
Threadly reminder that STD and Picard are shit and anyone in favor of them are either paid shills or trolls, do not reply to them.
Hope no one makes a competing thread.
Hell yeah, gimme dem golden ships
Having started to watch PIC, I'm getting to grips with what happened between NEM and now. He was promoted to Admiral in 2381, led the evacuation task force for Romulus until 2385, when Mars was attacked and Starfleet pulled out of the evacuation, leading Picard to resign in protest. Romulus was destroyed by a supernova in 2387. Now PIC takes place in 2399.
Germany barely had anything to begin with.
I mean they had a shitton of subs and lost most of them, so here is that.
This was a thoughtful letter that Stewart wrote to Gene in 1988, but this slowly and surely led to 'Captain's Holiday', Die Hard in space, going against Starfleet in INS and the fucking buggy chase sequence in NEM.

Cheers!
Star Trek and Jews just do not mix
One must watch it all. Even the Lower Decks cartoon.
I'm impressed you bothered to gather this info, seeing as PIC is an irredeemable dumpster fire.
Deal
apologize
Is star trek for nerds?
Indeed. I had to make sense of what the fuck I was watching. That's what you get when you have Stewart meddling in the story and his character yet again.

I don't mind STD because I can just watch it and not recognize it as star trek but PIC actually hurts to watch because I love TNG Picard and I feel like he's being raped.
Interesting read. And yeah, every time an episode like Captain's Holiday showed up it felt really weird and out of place. Like why is Picard suddenly acting like a British Indiana Jones?
On the other hand I don't entirely disagree with the idea that Picard could have had a more intimate long term relationship (aside from the implied one with Guinan that is). If him and Crusher had ever become a thing it could have fleshed out both characters without going too overboard. That would be stretching the character of Picard and allowing him to grow and change naturally, but what the new show does is make him a different character entirely.
> Brexit and the immigrant crises
The show doesn't even provide anything coherent on these topics.
Romulans are more bad than good, also whiny and inconsistent.
It's more like the show overall is neurotic in it's tone and that perhaps is reflection of modern society with Brexit and other cultural tremors.
BEHOLD MY DIGITS, MORTALS! WORSHIP MEEEEEEEEEE!
>herpes
Yucky tranny.
Indeed. I ignore everything after VOY/NEM. I so much wanted a post 2370s series/movie and then we get Stewart doing his TNG movies meddling action hero shit again, which also plays perfectly into the faggy nu-Trek culture. He was the worst person to hang a show on to continue the story.
You can't break us all Jean-Luc!
>this retard spamming pictures of his gold plated models covered in fingerprints and dust

He's the reason for everything thats happened tho. Kurtzman is literally his fucking protege

I want to be sucked into that warp core.
Again, Romulans are the absolute worst species to use for this, aside from maybe Klingons. If New York is destroyed are all the displaced Americans going to run to Beijing? No, of course not, that's moronic. The Romulans have other planets.
lmao
I want to rub my dick through Raffi's hair
Sure. Picard and Crusher should have hooked up on the show. Annoyingly because of the movies, they wanted Picard 'free'. The phaser range was also a good idea and they used it soon after and once more.
Sadly, for the movies there was no-one like Gene or Berman to keep Stewart in line. As he was now the movie lead, he constantly had to be indulged, making story demands and becoming a producer himself which brought about making Picard an action hero and rebel in the movies to the detriment of the character as written on the series and to the detriment of the ensemble.

>Hand over the Gold Hu-Man!
>herpes is normal guys, seriously!
I hate that people are pushing this shit.
Germans prioritized quality over quantity, the British and pretty much everyone else did the reverse. It's easy to lose to a panzer when your tank is basically made out of bits and pieces of shit haphazardly welded together.
