Grevious has way too little screentime and serves no purpose other than to provide a reason to split up Obi-Wan and Anakin. The whole Palpatine abduction plot is bizarre and makes little sense. The entire Yoda plot could be removed with no consequence.

8 is just a mess. the only important things that happens in that movie are Snoke and Luke dying, and they die for literally no reason as well. nothing else matters, the rebellion is in the exact same state it was at the beginning, Finn and Rey are the exact same characters, I guess Poe was supposed to become less hotheaded but there was no reason for him to have that arc and he's pretty much right back to his original self in 9 anyway.
