doctor who is the epitome of autism

First for requesting a link to the B&W workprint versions of series 8.

can confirm

Reminder that we are STILL in Heaven Sent. 12 has imagined this whole shitty Chibnall scenario as his future, to mentally punish himself for letting his waifu die in that alley.

I think I deleted my copies, sorry user, but those were fucking awesome. I remember downloading them very slowly from torrent at the time.

>muh Clala

Fuck Capaldi.

For someone who has a machine that can travel anywhere in time and space, Doctor sure does have a thing for modern-day London.

>t. seething time lords

you mean shabogans

why is he punishing us too? i don't wanna watch this shit

He's teaching us a lesson.

thats true and I think 'serious'was the word used code for 'he didnt goof off on set'

he realizes being too emotionally attached is a weakness, so he saves us some long-term pain by making us hate the show instead of it getting cancelled while it's good.

So what happened with Eccelston? The producers were arseholes?

imagine taking your role seriously as an actor

I'm almost surprised they haven't dragged back Ace or Leela into the show proper, since they would be easy to bastardize into this new, warped version of "Strong female" they want to push.

How many times have you been told this.
Strong individual female characters = bad.
Making pre-existing strong male characters into women = good.
Do you really need to be sent on ANOTHER diversity training course?

I'm starting to enjoy the whipping...

What are your thoughts, lads?

Rememeber all the videos and stories about Matt and Peter being very easy to work with since they try very hard, always lift the mood, and do their best to entertain their costars and the filming crew? How is Jodie doing in this regard? Capaldi was charismastic enough to convince his costar to stay for longer because they get along superbly, can you imagine Jodie suceeding at that?

>How is Jodie doing in this regard?
Two of the companions quit. Do the math.

Watching random outtake videos now.

John Barrowman:
>That's Tegan.
David Tennant:
>Jovanka?
John Barrowman:
>You know who Tegan is?
David Tennant:
>Yeah.

Fuck. Reminder the current Doctor has boasted that she's never even seen classic who.
Is it too much to ask for Jodie to give a single fuck anout the show?

Swap Gene WIlder and Dick Van Dyke.

I remember Smith outright admitting at first that he knew nothing about classic who at first, but that he religiously went through it all after he got the part. He reminded me of Troughton a lot so I believe him. Jodie probably never saw a classic ep in her life, I'd be surprised if she did

Matt never shuts up about how much he loves Troughton in those early series 5 interviews. He' was thrilled about it. Jodie has stated multiple times that she didn't watch it because she deemed it to be "For boys". You know, like a sexist.

I believe she was advised by Chibnall not to do so.

Doctor who was always mediocre but KEKnall takes it to a whole new level

>christopher walken 6th doctor
change.... my dear... and nodda moment.... too zoon

Chibnall has taken away the potential for greatness. Doctor Who's highs always matched or exceed its lows, but not anymore. Now it's all crap with no payoff.

>Tardlet

I genuinely think the only episode of Doctor Who she's ever seen is twice upon a time. I think that was made for her as a tutorial.

>Now the old man represents what Doctor Who was, racist, bigoted, old, and outdated, full of history that no body cares about.
>That guy going around correcting his micro-aggressions with the ethnic minority companion? That's going to be you.

This version of Listen is legitimately one of my favorite television episodes of all time. Certainly my favorite Doctor Who episode.

Alright /who/ tell me who is the hottest companion? And why is it Peri?

Capaldi needed a pure B&W episode

for me, it's Victoria

I'm disappointed that they didn't take series 10 as an excuse to say Fuck it and just get weird. They knew they were done and they didn't have to impress anyone.

Jodie Whittaker answers questions on Doctor Who

youtube.com/watch?v=KLun2Cct_u0
>You have a TARDIS and know how to pilot it, where/when would you go?
>Okay I would say..... NEPTUNE
>In... 50 years...
>Just to see if we've solved climate change.
What the actual fuck is she. This is like a BBC robot, it's like a text generator that's been fed politically correct answers.
She blurts out Neptune because she doesn't have an answer and rather than say a real location that she knows about like Paris or Venice (as anyone else would) she says the most vaguely quirky and space sounding thing she can.
Then, instead of giving a year of an interesting historical event, or even just extremely far in the future or a little time ago in the past she just says "in 50 years", not even 2070, just "in 50 years".
Then she tops it off by saying her motivation for this is seeing if we've solved climate change. Well wouldn't fucking Earth be better then?
She says all this while looking utterly disinterested in this, like she's contractually oblidged to appear there and can't show any sort of negative emotion about it.

I can't work her out. I don't know if her agent made her take this role and now she's in over her depth or if she genuinely has no soul but either way this is fucking mortifying. Not caring about the show is one thing, but it's like she has no personality whatsoever.

I remember the first time I saw doctor who. I must have been 7 or 8. My dad was watching me at home and he told me that he was gonna go upstairs and watch tv in his room. I went with him because I used to be terrified of being alone. He told me that they had brought back his favorite tv show from the past and that he was really excited for the new one. It was "the end of the world." Cassandra scared me so I sat on my dad's back while he laid stomach down on his bed. I didnt miss an episode with him until I went to college. Thank you for reading my blog post.

Other than anally raping my father this is me.

That's pretty awesome actually. I didn't start watching until I was in my twenties.

She literally didn't answer the first question.

Peri's banging but Leela's the one I really liked. It helped that I could probably listen to her *talk* all damn day.

>it's like a text generator that's been fed politically correct answers

and you're like a text generator that's been guzzling Yas Forums orthodoxy, whatever you imagine that to be. it's dutch door action

Classic: Peri
NuWho: Either Amy or Clara

>strong jawline without being a man jaw
That's good shit right there.

wasn't so much into Peri but Nicola Bryant on the other hand...

So you think a perfectly normal answer to the question "If you could go anywhere and any time where would you go?" is "Neptune in 50 years to see if we've solved climate change on Earth."
Ignoring what you think of me, do you REALLY think that's a normal response?

For me, it's The Brig

Attached: 5fc047731ce2f91073f63b8c2046a8f0[1].jpg (600x450, 34.86K)

certainly. you're just another sad little tit anxious to be seen virtue signaling by his "Yas Forumsbros"

>it's like she has no personality whatsoever.
She's an actor mate. That's kind of par for the course.

Fuck off, obvious BBC plant

Cringe.

>but don't you think both sides...
No

You know that's a copout response.

Cringe.

ok, this is based

I thought you were the buttblasted guy. My apologies.

he wasn't fucking racist, from now on I'm assuming anyone who says that never watched it

not even the most attractive UNIT member, for me it's Benson or nothing

One in TUaT WAS racist by the new, pussy definition of the word.

It's a package deal. You really think he was homophobic (responding "Good lord." when Bill says she's into women), sexist (saying now Polly isn't around to clean they needed a new female companion) but loves all races?
The only reason they didn't show bim being racist is because the sexism and homophobia could be excused as "old man bad" but racism is literally hitler.

You creatures really are cancer.

will he ever come back

Attached: 1200px-Christopher_Eccleston_GalaxyCon_Minneapolis_2019_(cropped).jpg (1200x1701, 445.08K)

Maybe in a charity thing or in the 70th, anything other than that is non-negotiable.

not by any definition, give me one line just one thats all, and wtf does package deal mean? he was by some fags standards "sexist" and so now that means you get to say he was racist and hated fags too? stop helping the mentally ill

what about a BF?

LMAO NEVER EVER
Eccleston said in an interview he's not interested in audio stuff.
And honestly? Tremendously based

Take solace in the fact that the moment Jodie leaves, she'll probably never be back on the show again and she'll likely never be in any Big Finish.
The 13th Doctor will be this awkward blip in the history of the show.
If 13 appears in any Audios, it'll be someone who probably gives a shit. Audio 13 might actually have a good story.
Maybe at worst, for an anniversary TV special, there'll be some archive footage and a woman in her costume who gets her face CG'd over for Jodie's.
If we're especially lucky, Chris will leave with her and either someone better takes over or the show is cancelled for a decade or two.
