Wait 1 million viewers is over half the viewership? Wow.

Stopped watching after S2E01.

A lot of people did.

It's on HBO

That show fucking sucks. The original movie is Kino.

I only cared about Ed Harris' character and hes barely in the show. Also the story is awful.

Show wasn't that good the first season.

How did it get to a third?

>Stopped watching after S1E10.

that's what happens when you screw the pooch with the prior season

First season was the only good one. Even though the last episode of s1 was full of fucking awful plotholes the season overall was ominous and made it seem like there might be hellish payoff, but the way s2 started it already disappointed me. I wanted a lot more murder.

they want it to get big like got lmao

HBO forced every pop culture outlet to cover it and sank so much money into it that they can't cut their losses now

HBO was betting on it to become their GoT replacement

Well Xbox seems to keep finding him jobs, to be hache with you.

>aaron paul plays todd chavez in westworld
there, i saved the series

>the same forced feminist plots as season 2 except more forced and more aggressive this time
no thanks

BITCH

first season was great, second too convoluted. gonna wait to see what people say, maybe ill pick up s03.

>delores joins forces with henry fondle to take over the world

stopped watching somewhere after s1e08

What happened with season 2 6 & 7 to cause the spike up?

I love how much they made a big deal of out Aaron Paul joining and it had tons of articles written about it, and he hasn't brought any viewers in

There was a 37% drop for episode 6, that probably went head to head with a big sports even or debate or some shit

This, show fell apart with the retarded Maeve subplot. Plus, the themes are generic and overdone.

>friend asks if I want to watch this with him
>say no the last season was shit
>"but this season has Aaron Paul user!"

I saw Aaron Paul at an unemployment office in Los Angeles yesterday. I noticed him but didn’t want to bother him. He obviously saw me because he came up to me. He said, “Please let me give you an autograph, yo, bitch. Please respond.” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “Please respond. Please respond. Xbox, please respond. Bitch.” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my day, and I heard him crying as I walked off. When I came to apply up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen job applications in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be busy and read scripts, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the forms and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually because “I just wish I had more time to play,” and then turned around and cried at me. I don’t even think that’s a career. After she scanned each form and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by saying “Xbox turn on” really loudly.

The season 3 premiere was actually decent though. Felt like a Terminator plot. Except better than the last 3 Terminator movies.

It was good until Tessa Thompson and Maeve

Are you me?

They made the mistake of thinking that if they make things confusing and out of order, it makes it good. There was almost no pay-off to anything in season two and the story is just convoluted for the sake of it. I’m giving it another chance but very close to dropping the show.

Finished season 1 and heard terrible things about season 2 like how Dolores became a Mary Sue, there was less overall violence and how they doubled down on whatever they were doing with Maeve while giving the Black Cowboy dude a shitty narrative/resolution. Not surprised to hear it's doing poorly now.

>the last 3 Terminator movies
What? I thought they only ever made two.

They did. Who knows what the hell that guy is talking about.

Same. It was dogshit

Just because you don’t understand it doesn’t mean it’s awful.

>lol you just don't get ma complicated story

Hate this argument.

They made three Terminator movies. Don't tell me naked FemTerminator wasn't kino.

Note how you didn't say he's wrong. Just that you hate your own stupidity being pointed out.

>Three months after the attack at Westworld, Dolores coerces Gerry, a former shareholder in Delos, to sign over his shares of Incite, a new AI company, along with confidential information. He dies when he tries to attack her as she leaves.

>In Los Angeles, former soldier Caleb struggles with the trauma of losing his friend Francis in combat. Unable to secure better work than construction, he makes ends meet through petty crime jobs offered via the Rico app.

>Bernard meanwhile is the subject of a manhunt, blamed for the Westworld massacre. He works under a new alias at a livestock farm in southeast Asia. When two co-workers recognize and attempt to apprehend him, Bernard fights to escape, and later secures passage back to Westworld. Meanwhile, the Charlotte host takes control of the Delos board in William's absence.

>Dolores uses a false identity to get close to Liam Dempsey Jr., the son of Incite's co-founder, to learn more about Rehoboam, a strategic planning AI. Liam knows little of it, nor can access it as his deceased father never shared the codes with him. As Liam is about to tell Dolores the name of a second person with access, Martin, his head of security, arrives and knocks Dolores out, revealing her deception. Martin and his men plan to dispose of her body, using the Rico service to request a stolen car and lethal drugs in order to fake her death. Caleb takes the job and brings the car, curious to the identity of the unconscious woman but walks away when ordered.

>Tessa thompson
anything this bitch touches turns into total trash.

>Martin's henchman injects Dolores with the drugs but they have no effect. Martin is distracted as Dolores wakes and efficiently dispatches his men following a firefight in which she receives a gunshot wound. Martin flees but is pursued and caught by Dolores. Under duress, Martin divulges the name of "Serac" as the person she seeks with access to Rehoboam. Dolores reveals she has created a host-copy of Martin, who arrives and kills the real Martin. Caleb finds a sense of purpose and returns to help Dolores to safety.

>In a post-credits scene, Maeve wakes up to find herself in a room, holding a gun, with a tied-up soldier nearby. She looks out the window to see herself sometime in the midst of World War II.

Saved you 50 minutes.

Big brain user

The power of feminism

>Creed
>Thor Ragnarok

your friend is chill you faglord

Go woke, go broke

So let me get this straight. When people are quarantined and bored at home in massive numbers, they still don't watch this shit? Hot damn

Season 2 was probably one of the worst tv shows I've ever seen.
How do you fuck up japanworld so badly?

Season 2 was fucking horrendous.

rational thinker

>chill
faggot zoomer term, opinion discarded

On top of that what is it even competing against for the spring 2020 lineup? New Curb?

I was really into season 1, but the Maeve subplot was so fucking hard to watch. I don't give a shit about the strong black woman or whatever, but it was just fucking bad.

Also, I thought it would be about what the difference between humans and robots, the philosophical boundaries etc. Instead they did the standard "what if robots were like, slaves and shit". Season 1 was carried HARD by Hopkins and Harris.

The only enjoyment I get out of life these days is checking The Walking Dead's ratings every week to see how low they can go.

I kinda like the idea of season 3 so far but ya the shitty season 2 will have killed alot of hype.

after Glenn died, it was all over for TWD

Excitement that is was going to be over soon.

>Aaron Paul

I hope they were not thinking he would bring viewers in. I mean hes alright but pretty generic.

Season 2 was just bizarre.
Even putting aside the batshit storytelling I couldn't get over how straight they played the western and eastern settings/plotlines.

>you need to pay for those first
>job applications
lmaooo underrated

Only interesting characters were Ford and William. Ford's dead and they butchered William with that whole retarded family drama with his daughter in S2. Then they made Dolores and Maeve into Mary Sues with godlike abilities with the latter one being especially egregious. There was also that goblin Thessa Thompson who ruins everything she's in.

>even beginning the second season
pleb

Will Jimmi Simpson show up in S3?

That episode was memeorial day weekend, lots of people were probably out of town

Robots gained consciousness and out in the wild. Why keep watching it? For more time shenanigans to make it look more interesting than it actually is? Fuck Chris Nolan btw

It's by Jonathan Nolan, you fucking idiot

It annoyed me how they made the MiB explicitly a bad guy. They had some real potential to explore the human/robot difference, because while he does incredibly amoral things, he only does so to what are essentially objects. Sure, they are very human-like, and the fact that he can do so is what makes him disturbing.

But he never actually hurts humans, so he's not actually evil. That was the whole point of his backstory - he finally realized Dolores was not real, even though he wanted her to be. If the show had had the courage or intelligence to go beyond the usual robots = marginalized people and instead managed to explore the difference between man and robots, it could have been a fantastic show. Instead they spun up some vague bullshit about free will vs consciousness.

Fuck Jonathan Nolan too

You all need to stop being mean to my cute bf

Oh that's too bad.... this show looks like it costs a big chunk of money too... what a shame

>Overall, the episode scored 1.7 million viewers across HBO’s platforms when taking into account digital viewers. That means its viewership was split almost 50-50 between live and streaming, a much more even balance than previous seasons which skewed far more towards live. For comparison, the last episode of “Westworld,” which aired way back in June 2018, scored 1.6 million total viewers.

fake news Yas Forums btfo again!

I was really surprised how much of the show that perky little gook was carrying but the point is clear that the viewer hemorrhage kicked in HARD the minute he died.

Shit, looks like five million people watched him die and noped out that very week.

So Westworld is better than ever? Guess I'm watching season 3!!

>make a woman the showrunner of seasons 9 and 10
>lower ratings than season 1

even the first season was shit

what is it even about nowadays

>Incel posts

Small brain. I stopped watching season 1 episode 7.

you'll die from corona, boomer and your friend is chill

>make user the showrunner of his life
>it's critically panned and no one's watching

They've been counting live + streaming all along

>S1 premiere: 3.3 million live + streaming
>S2 premiere: 3.0 million live + streaming
>S3 premiere: 1.7 million live + streaming
