Let me guess, season 3 filming is delayed because of corona
how come netflix's asian shows don't need to fulfill any diversity quotes?
Any Chinese kino recommendations?
>zombies
>kino
literally impossible
Yi Yi
A brighter summer day
It was really good but what the fuck was up with that anime tier ending?
When they let the blood drop on the zombie to distract them, the other zombies then ate it. They introduced a new rule and then dropped it. Also that ending was retarded with a literally who.
thanks.
what new rule? that zombies lust for blood?
>Night of the living dead
>Dawn of the dead 2004 (first half)
>Train to Busan
>28 days later
>(Parts of) 28 weeks later
>(Majority of) walking dead s01
What other zombie kino's am I missing?
is this actually good, or overrated like almost all of netflix's shows?
[rec]
Actually good. Korean Kino
Because they are already 100% diverse.
By hollywood definition diversity means not white so this show is 100% diverse
while some of those are enjoyable, none of those are kino
Wait is this based on the Kingdom manga or not?
It's written by the person who wrote the manga.
But apparently they overhauled the concept pretty much.
no. i dont think the manga should be adpated unless its a hihg budget proper tv show for hbo. i dont think chinese tv could do it right
Is this a Yas Forums meme show or is it genuinely good?
I'd argue that 28 days later is certified kino
>Train to Busan
I felt like I'd seen that movie getting so much praise, talking about how the Koreans made a kino zombie flick only to watch what felt like a pretty damn average zombie flick. Those guys just punching their ways through a zombie carriage was almost comical. That, and the whole super cliche
>'Father who only gives a shit about his work learns to love and sacrifices himself'
mega-trope.
netflix is only the distributor, it's made by a based korean studio
Oh shit, thats cool
Yeah, it would be cool if HBO could pick it up and make a proper Kingdom series.
Who would play Shin? and who would play Kyoukai?
>worms die if submerged in water
>but the initial infection was worm infested meat served in a stew
What did they mean by this?
can you cartoon incels fuck off?
japan made a movie adaptation. it made a lot of money apparently
dont listen to that other guy the korean show is not based on the manga at all lol. i have no idea desu i only know korean cinema and have no clue what young chinese actors could fill their roles but itd be interesting to learn
High School of the Dead
It's based on a manga, don't know if we're talking about the same one.
It's even getting an official release later this year.
>Trusting someone that would chop up a dead body and make it in to a stew to properly cook it and not be raw in certain places.
oh sorry its based on a korean webtoon yeah but i assumed the other guy was talking about kingdom the japanese manga you may be completely right.
>none of those are kino
>Night of the Living Dead
>Not Kino
History disagrees with you.
Alright, alright, you got me with NotLD. But I stand by my claim that 28 Days Later, while a great film, is not kino.
Did you forget the process literally requires that you boil the crushed up flower before injecting it? This actually explains why the worms die in cold water.
once you get past the over the top korean acting it's actually pretty good.
>28 Days Later, while a great film, is not kino.
Danny Boyle only makes kino
the virus hibernated in warm weather but die in cold water? it made no sense
That's not what diversity means.
The Japanese Kingdom manga already has a movie. It's actually decent like the samurai x movie.
tell that to netflix.
see
S2 when
what happened to the zombies from the start of season 2? weren't they still besieging that other town?
it's a meme, the story is weak and the zombies are shitty
>they are already 100% diverse.
100% gooks, is 0% diverse. Black Panther was only 93% diverse
Yea seems contradictory. This type of shows always suffers when they try to explain the root cause for the zombies
S2 aired 4 days ago
Is there any excuse for slow zombies?
Plot armor.
they're not alive, and lack nutrients to walk or run fast
You make slow zombies when what you really want to write is a soap opera
Seoul Station is the superior gookzombie-kino.
It's horrible, I couldn't even get past the second episode. The plot is convoluted, the main character is bland and unsympathetic and there is not enough waifus to keep our attention in the meantime while a plot builds up.
Kingdom?
More like Kinodom
Hero (2002)
Those are possessed by demons, not zombies.
Hell yeah, love this movie.
>the virus hibernated in warm weather
They said that was because the meat spoiled. They weren't allergic to sunlight or something, they just didn't want their fleshpuppets to stop spreading stuff.
With the food relief the townspeople held out until spring and then emerged to burn the sleeping zombies in the day-time.
