I think the Walking Dead has the largest disparity between kino potential and what we ended up getting starting in season 7, though others may cite the decline starting earlier I think 7 is when it truly jumped the shark
Once they hit the farm walking dead went to shit
for me it dropped of the cliff in episode 2 when all was resolved and I knew it would be about housewife drama
The farm has a tendency to filter plebs
This. I thought I was getting into kino about a man searching for his wife and son in a world gone mad.
Brando tier performance. I stopped watching after Based Andrew left this show, he acted circles around everyone else
They had several opportunities at creating kino and dropped the ball EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME. This goes as far back as season one with the stupid fucking CDC plot. The fact that they were close again at getting good in 7 and completely fucked it is just even more frustrating. But that's what happens when a show has no clear consistent vision like this one.
There's literally nothing wrong with the CDC episode
Right, let's take it from the top
6>1>3>5>2>4>9>8>7>10
what farm? don't remember a farm in episode 2 fat bitch
kill yourself
This was the last season I watched of TWD, amazing scene imo. Heard it went to shit afterwards
I fucking guarantee the last episode will be helicopters coming to pick up survivors, and Rick is in the one that finds his family. Do you really think they couldn't get Andrew back for the final episode?
Why you mad, roastie?
Season 6 was the best, so you missed out
>show quality took a nosedive due to budget cuts
>for some reason we're supposed to pretend that it's a good thing
It's not as bad as a quality drop as we got later on but it was a definite drop in quality compared to the rest of the first season which was able to stand toe to toe on a network with Prime Mad Men and Prime Breaking Bad
One season have about 10% kino scenes.
imagine being a fan of this, makes sense since it started right after desperate housewives, very dramatic
It's funny how nobody can say what their problem is
Actually kino moment from the only kino actor
>Who is Jon Bernthal
Oh I forgot, he's Jewish so we're meant to hate him no matter what
why waste the time when your reply will just be "stay filtered"?
EYY RIK
*rubs head*
MASK U SUM
Who was in the wrong here?
>The fact that they were close again at getting good in 7
quick rundown? I dropped it after the guv
LMASKUSUMMIN
HOW YU GUN PROTEC EM RIK
I'm curious
is that the guy from Teachers?
hershel for acting like a faggot the entire season
IT'S GOT NO STEEPLE RICK
GOT NO STAYPLE
HOW IS IT STILL WALKIN RICK
Walking Dead peaked when they were going around the woods murdering every other group who tried to challenge them
>Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, Carol, CORAL, Michonne, Sasha, Abraham, Rosita, Eugene
>Morgan fucking shit up on some other woods
That was it, after the fag showed up and took them to Alexandria it went downhill
That's just normal Christians, though
>Or what?! You gonna ban me? Huh? You still don't get it. None of you do! We know what needs to be posted and we post it. We're the ones who meme. You?! You just ban and sit and moderate.
yep, i refer to S2 as "Drama on Herschel's Farm with guest appearance from ZOMBIES"
where is carl
in house
oh no carl is not in house carl is hamfistedly driving the plot
Alexandria was peak kino you fucking faggot
>What is buildup
>What is payoff
>we must find little girl
>no one looks for little girl
>oh no, little girl was zombie in barn the whole time
The Ricktatorship was pure fucking kino.
Like Negan said in that one episode, peak Rick was an animal who could've resolved 4 seasons worth of bullshit in a night
Andrew literally carried the show on his back
Now that hes gone there is no reason to watch this show anymore
Darryl is not good enough and half of season 9 focused on Carl 2 just off him in the end
s5 was peak
is andrew going back to show?
nope
movies
Yup, you got filtered hard.
>Sophia is a major character in the comics and main plot of the first half of season 2 revolves around looking for her, so naturally the viewer assumss she will be rescued
>Instead it is revealed that he has been dead under their noses this whole time
>After all the slow burn and personal drama, this moment hita the viewer out of nowhere and the show reminds the viewer that anyone is a target and from this point on, the show no longer fucks around
i think movies was just a joke, no news about them
What I like is how clean the cars and how manicured the lawns still are, months after the apocalypse began.
Sure, we have all this shit going on, but no sense in letting standards slip. I said get out there and wash the car and mow the lawn or no pocketmoney, boy!
there are multiples news and a teaser lmao
nice space jam michael jordan half court reach you got there.
>budget is slashed
>think up some contrived shit to have the characters never leave one isolated location
>pray the audience doesn't notice
i don't care who the character is in the comics, we're not discussing the comic.
>Sophia is a major character in the comics
lmao no, she's carl's love interest then she just vanishes
The barn scene is kino. The fucking around for 7 episodes to get to that scene was not.
The last four episodes of s2 are actually great though. I love the slow burn sense of impending doom as the walkers slowly get closer and closer to the farm juxtaposed with Shane's increasing insanity. I love how the group starts camping out on the land but by the end of the season no one is even leaving the house alone, and that final action setpiece with the burning barn was great.
>this is what the show became after Andrew left
>youtube.com
>in the comics
Stopped reading there.
You need to be 18+ to post here, kid.
>It bad because it takes place in one spot
If we're gonna go that route, I could say The Thing or 12 Angry Men suck.
Now this is how you make a reasonable reply when you disagree
But that's widely considered one of the best scenes of the season
The show is an adaptation of a comic book
It's bad because when it's convenient you can take a right turn behind a atree and be hidden.
But at the saame time, they keep finding needles in haystacks to carry the plot, and people just read too much right stuff into everything.
Over aand over.
And then it seems to solve itself, but Carol is reckless and whines about how everyone must adjust to the new reality.
What the absolute fuck is this
I liked all the persona drama and character development of season 2 when Lori wasn't onscreen. But that's because back then the show still had good characters and actors that played ofd each other well.
You wouldn't get it
You're a fucking pleb retard
I'm merely stating the majority consensus, also ad hom is not an argument
And yet still an embarrassing joke retard
What do these posts have in common?
That's right! They were made by the same person
>But that's widely considered one of the best scenes of the season
>get btfo
>s-samefag!
A cope as old as time. Wanna further your education brainlet?
>That thing is bad
>Why is it bad?
>It's just bad. Moving on.
