I dispise drama like breaking bad, the wire. Its just depressing.

Blade runner was the most boring movie I ever seen.

I never watched a single classic wars movie. I watched TLJ which was ok.

I never watched the Lion King, Pulp Fiction, dispite watching over 5k movies.

>TLJ which was ok
On the cross you go
>I never watched the Lion King, Pulp Fiction
This is okay. Lion King is probably an okay movie, it's just I haven't seen it in 20+ years, not falling for Reddit / Disney marketing.
Pulp Fiction isn't the greatest thing ever as people will want you to believe.

No Country for Old men is one of the shittiest movies I've ever seen and even the "le meme bad man so cool" can't save it.

I'm not a pedophile

say what you want about Pulp Fiction, but it's still one of the most enjoyable movies ever.

how have you seen 5k movies while avoiding dramas?

I really enjoyed the movie.
I hated the ending.
I know the ending had a point to make, but I still hate it. Feels like all that suspense was wasted.

I watch yify rips occasionally since I have shit internet atm

i hate anime. didn't watch a single show.
i'm the guy jannies warned you about.

I sat through every fucking episode of The Sopranos waiting for it to get good.
I will never get those 86 hours (Jesus Christ) of my life back.

dilate

I didn't enjoy a single show or movie from the 2010s

Master & Commander is just poor man's Das Boot, completely forgettable. The weevils pun was fun tho.

You came out guns a blazing OP. No one can top such shitty tastes.

It definitely has different themes, das boot is 100% about the claustrophobic environment whereas master and commander focuses more on the relationships on the ship

Star wars and capeshit is bad, made for children and mentally underdeveloped adults

I don't even know why that's bad.

I feel the same way about gangster movies as I do about capeshit.
That said, I believe The Winter Soldier and GotG 2 to be legit good movies.
I don't like Ralph Bakshi and the majority of his work.
Terry Gilliam is the definition of hit or miss.
I never liked Star Wars but love the artistic direction and the scope.
Battlestar Galactica never got 'bad' for me.
I like the films of Wes Anderson.
I do not like the films of Quinten Tarantino.
Most of my favorite films are historical pieces.
Barry Lyndon is not only my favorite Kubrick film, its the only one I like at all.
There is no cut of Apocalypse Now or BvS that is good.

All I do is rewatch King of the Hill and 90s Star Trek and come to Yas Forums to Sneedpost. The newest TV show I've seen was iZombie. The last movie I watched was the Thor movie with Cate Blanchett because she looked hot but other than that I haven't watched movies in years.

I saw 1 horror film (The woman in black) on a group date in 8th grade and I have never watched one since. I have missed out on potential new dates and time with friends because I can't handle jump scares.

I thought Andrei Rublev was forgettable and Stalker had too much dialogue

I think 2001 and apocalypse now are the most boring shit ever, i have tried to watch both several times.

Not a big fan of Orson Welles's filmography

Don't watch modern horror films, they all follow that ghost train format

I have a friend like this. He's a turbochad when it comes to everything else in life but for some reason he can't handle horror at all.
What is there even to be afraid of lmao, it's a movie.

Kaiju movies are fucking boring

I like both but Das Boot is on a whole other level of kino. M&C is a good flick but nothing for the history books.

I can't handle haunted houses, or scary games either. Definitely coulda hooked up with a girl down the line had I not dodged a few invites to haunted houses. Fuck horror and scary shit.

I tried watching the SW original trilogy a few times, but I never even made it to to the end of A New Hope. At some point I watched episode 1 on tv and I thought it was ok, then I accompanied some friends to see 2 and 3 in theaters and they were just as awful as the OT.

I enjoy very much all the shitposting and watching Disney's Star Wars crash and burn, but I'm sorry for the fans who had to witness their childhood movies going to shit like that.

I watched 8 seasons of Family Guy before realizing it's not funny.

I still watch it occasionally so i know what the fuck normies at work think they should laugh at.
Its cool bro

This is legit the worst movie I can think of that I've seen.

I dont watch movies and tv series at all i use this board just to shitpost.

I love Asian highschool rom-comes & dramedies. They're all basically the same and the characters are all the same, but holy fuck I love the wholesomeness and over-the-top nature of them.

You haven't watched enough movies then.

I think the Last Samurai is better than most modern samurai films

#MeToo
>the horror....the horror

I have seen 4 of the Star Wars movies, the original trilogy and the first prequel, and they're all average at best.

Me neither, I like girls of all ages from young children up to grown adults in their 30s and maybe 40s.

I watch more horror movies than I do any other genre.
Very few non-horror films really appeal to me.

I don't understand the grounded in realism = better entertainment argument, I just find those kinds of people have no sense of imagination and shouldn't work in a field that requires it.

I don't think Death Wish 3 is nearly as bad as people say it is, its not good but not the worst thing ever.

I used to be like that, but then after seeing 500+ of them it's hard to find ones that are good. Death Wish 3 the one with the street gang and the guy gets blown up with the grenade launcher or some shit at the end? If so, it's entertaining as fuck.

Hateful 8 is Tarintinos best movie
if you skip the gay porn scene
its his worst movie if you dont skip it

I agree to an extent, especially samurai epics. But the genre is flexible enough for a range of styles.

It is, and yeah. The newer horror movies just don't work for me, guess I'll stick to the 80s to mid 2000s stuff.

Can you recommend any samurai or warrior epics in the same tier as the Last Samurai

Newer movies are more horror-thriller. Hard to find pure horror movies anymore. I gave Black Christmas the re-remake a chance and hated myself for wasting 90 minutes. Dismissed is pretty good, although a horror-thriller. Dylan Sprouse surprised me. Blood Fest is good. Hell Fest is similar and watchable.

yeah watching a black guy with a ballgag getting anally raped is enjoyable *rolls eyes*
this guy stole my confession
i acknowledge it as a top-tier drama, but fuck if i know how it's so popular. it's ugly people being ugly to each other

>Battlestar Galactica never got 'bad' for me.
based

The Witch is the only one that got the slow burn meme right, and everyone trying to ride that bandwagon are hack faggots who're just embarrassing themselves.

breaking bad was shit though, so theres nothing wrong in disliking it

I think it's probably the 3rd best TV hour long drama ever. I love mob/organized crime shit though.

A lot of them are older. Kagemusha, Ran, Heaven and Earth, Samurai Banners all feature large troop movements/battles. For more recent films, you have Sekigahara, and not much else. You could also try Taiga dramas like Fuurin Kazaan, but those can be hit or miss.

I don't know much about Chinese movies, but Red Cliff was decent.

>not mentioning the greatest samurai movie of all-time
Blade Of The Immortal

>I never watched Pulp Fiction dispite watching over 5k movies.
Why not?

It's alright, but for my purposes "epic" means large-scale battles between opposing armies. Which has never been samurai films' strong suit, desu.

>Big Hero 6 is my favorite film. I wrote an 11k word essay on why I love it
>frozen is one my favorite films
>I love most MCU films. Far From Home is my favorite Spider man movie because I love cutesy romantic drama and I have massive daddy issues
>I pretty much only watch big budget mainstream films and well known indie stuff
>I shitpost as a hardcore leftist and a Trump supporter to derail threads I have no interest in
>I've jerked off to both Rey and Rose in The Last Jedi several times even though I hate the film
>pic related is my genuine opinion

Attached: 1580609266499 (3).jpg (1290x3610, 3.49M)

I was joking, but it's entertaining. There's a huge battle though towards the end. There's also the Miike "WTF is that a frog?" masterpeace Yakuza Apocalypse.

I never cared for Edward Norton's Hulk nor Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, or Hulk in general because Hulk as a whole is something that greatly disinterests me.

Same goes for Thor, I find them to be the worst things in the Avengers movies.

Sound like a massive fag (genuine opinion)

Love The Witch, and tend to agree. Have you seen I am the Pretty Thing that Lives in the House? it's very pretty (heh), but really doesn't work much as horror, it's basically all atmosphere (which I love) and nothing else much

I have never shared my blacked account with my friends and relatives

Just watched this movie again 2 days ago. You have shit taste. Sad!

What's your favorite scene?

I love all of them, especially the facial ones.

I hate the TV series Arrow, largely because I love the character of Green Arrow and it pissed me off how they essentially made him Batman.

They really should've just stuck Stephen Amell in a batsuit and called it a day.

You have absolutely shit taste and sound like a huge faggot. I hate people like you

Kamen Rider, which is from what I've watched a Japanese Power Rangers ripoff has more soul than most Hollywood capeshit.

>Kamen Rider
>Japanese Power Rangers ripoff
What? Simply wow user.

It's a good movie, but not because Chigurh is "cool" or whatever. He's really just another lost soul wandering through the plot. It's the powerful themes and desolate visuals that make it so great.

This. I avoid anything built around "action" these days.

Gangster/Mobster movies and 90% of Westerns are exactly as smoothbrained as superhero movies.

I actually like everything Burton does to this day. I'm a sucker for that kind of shit. I even loved Oz The Great and Powerful

It's literally impossible to enjoy tokusatsu as an adult unless you're at least a little autistic
