This is what, the third or fourth time "le evil hackers" have been the main antagonists? He's kind of written himself into a corner after the first time he used hax as the threat although I can't really blame him as there isn't much else. By season 7 it was getting a tired but at least that season had a lot of other stuff going on to carry it. Guess we just have to wait and see how the rest of the season pans out.

I seem remember Job saying he's planned 60 episodes to be in S8 on the podcast but couldn't say which one. I can say I highly doubt the show making it past 25 episodes, it'll probably end around ep20-23 given how long it's taking.

The series is 10/10 kino up until they both die at the end of S7.
I only watched the first episode or two of S8 which seems more like a reboot or something, but I was into it. I didn't realize more episodes were coming out or had come out.
Should I keep watching? Or should my S1-7 just be my headcanon? Is 8 worth it? The original series had such a good ending.

This is the only way to watch the series. You have to watch Endgame, which wouldn't normally warrant a second viewing but is essential in establishing Claire and wrapping up Todd and Travis as well as being a fitting end of the "first era" and bridge into the second.

Hypermail was funny as hell. The Ocarina of Time review is probably the best bit out of the entire series.

S8 isn't as good as S7 and isn't finished (likely wont be for a couple years). It also starts really slow (Still is but it looks like the first act might be over so it could pick up the pace). Although it's pretty good I can't recommend it yet as it does fuck with previously explored characters and themes and isn't done thereby tarnishing their respective arcs.

Can't say for season 8 yet. It's flawed but the highs are basically the highest in the whole series. The last two episodes (so like 3 hours of material) have been the best episodes of the series.

The best part about it is that zoomers will never believe people actually used to do that
