Women are cunning, but it's a low cunning. They still tend to follow the herd. They want into fandom because genre fic and "geekdom" is a thing and when things become things, women want to use them to satisfy their base desires for attention (because usually everything else follows the attention they receive). Yes, you can calculate that capeshit, nuwars, and nutrek are over and you'ld probably be right, but you'ld be thinking like a dude. Just look at home women initiate divorces. It's almost always _after_ there is someone (or something) else. Women will leave these fandoms, but not until there is critical mass with the next thing.
