I go with my brother if it's a movie he's also interested in. Otherwise I usually go alone. I never really got the stigma about going to the movies alone; if anything, I feel much worse
when I eat out alone.

Eh, it depends on your schedule. If you see films regularly it's not always going to be convenient for others. Watching a movie in a theater isn't really a social thing, the chatter before and after is but that's not essential. I don't get the stigma now that I'm an adult.

I saw Zootopia on edibles in a theater full of kids and their moms and it was a very awkward experience, it didn't help that the movie was shit too.

i try to, but usually it doesn't work out. that coronavirus is a godsend though. most movie theaters are waiving their no-singles-policy because regular groups and couples aren't going anymore. right now i can get in without any trouble and the theaters are usually mostly empty.
