Match Point is one of the more underrated films from the past ten years or so.
No!
I watched The Draughtman's Contract last night. A very good film and my second Greenaway after The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover. I loved the score and keep listening to it. I'm struggling to find 1080p torrents of his other films. I'm downloading A Zed and Two Noughts, The Belly of an Architect and Nightwatching. Is this a good place to go to next for Greenaway's filmography?
I didn't watch it on YouTube but someone has uploaded it in 1080p in case anyone cares youtube.com
I watched the Grand Illusion last night bros. 8/10 the last act was the best. Showed the German soldiers in a good light...Imagine seeing that today.
Bi Gan's films have Lynchian qualities - time distortion, character ambiguity, etc - but he does not explore them through suspense like Lynch does. watch both Kaili Blues and Long Day's Journey Into Night and let us know what you think.
is there somewhere to watch this one online? I don't torrent, though. maybe Criterion or some other service?
I say watch is films chronologically. you can see how he develops as a filmmaker that way. don't skimp out on Baby of Macon (on Amazon Prime) or Drowning by Numbers (Criterion Channel, I think). happy viewing!
How is J'accuse?
Also, might not be that ontopic but is Twelve Monkeys any good?
I dug it. it's a fun silly film like all of Gilliam's work. the reverse tango soundtrack is make or break for some viewers, I've found. cool little take on Le Jetee, though..
Re-watched the first episode of dekalog today and I felt that I understood it more than the first time I watched it, will go through all of the episodes in the coming week since I've got a small break from college.
On another note, what do anons think were the best movies of 2019, I have created the habit of watching an old film and a newer one afterwards and would like to know what you consider the best of last year.

I got it from rutracker, I think criterion only has Costa's Letters from Fontainhas trilogy.
I finally found a bluray torrent of this kino. It's 2 hours and 13 minutes. Which is a bit longer than the DVD version i saw iirc. Stunning film.
Go chronologically.
Forgot pic
