Why did Reddit hate it?

You can tell someone is a pretender if they use words like "cunt" and "straya" all the time. Especially "straya". I have never heard anyone pronounce Australia like that except some phony mainlanders.

>guy who made this never heard of Bendigo, let alone visited Bendigo and only used it because I thought it sounded funny.
What kind of half-chink city fag has never been to Bendigo before! It's literally the most happening place in north central Victoria excludingTitty Bong.

I'd say it's the same kind of non-sequitur humor that largely defines R&M. Yas Forums wants to like R&M but they can't because reddit likes it. The guy you know who plays a lot of nintendo games and enjoys making being a geek part of his personality likes it. So that means Yas Forums can't like it. But they want to, and BA gives them a reason to like the same kind of humor. So then we have to say that normies and those geeky guys don't like it, they hate it. It makes them so mad because it's so much better and not at all like that lesser version of the thing. BA gives Yas Forums permission to be the same kind of annoying cunt that likes R&M. The kind of person who enjoys it because it's a little deeper than a normal cartoon.

>but BA isn't deeper or trying to smart!

That's exactly why it is trying to be smart though. It's patronizing and attempting to be subversive in its simplicity and immaturity. Which is different from just being plainly immature ala Family Guy. Trying to subvert something that fancies itself clever is attempting to be clever. It's the same kind of smarmy self-congratulatory attitude.
