But was it ever good?

Season 1 only
probably not. i never watched it, but if a lot of people say something's good, they're usually wrong. that's not always the case, but i just really want to die
It had one of the best pilots in TVs history.
The rest of season one was pretty decent.
the first two episodes were a really great start, but it already dropped in quality in S1
it had some really strong episodes, but qualitywise it always was all over the place with a constant decline to a laughably bad
Yes.
The script was really good for a zombie show in the early seasons.
Shane in season 2 was a memorable character. My favorite scenes were with him.
I liked season 3 when they first discover the prison and they find the locked in prisoners.
LE MASK USUMTHIN RICK
season 2
First season was incredible, forget the directors name but anything he touched turned to gold. Shame that AMC got rid of him just because they didn't want to debate budget
>that 1980s tier of CGI in episode 1 when Rick walks out of the hospital and up the hill past the army helicopters and humvees
its so stupid set, one tank could end this shit
Season 1 was unironically kino. Shame AMC were such cheap bastards and fired Frank Darabont.
this, the show died with Shane
This is the meme response. The first episode was good, that was all for season 1. Mexicans caring about their grandmothers, the CDC, all shit. Learning that everyone turns when they die was a huge point in the comic for Rick. He goes back and digs up Shane in some serious character development. Dropping that in the 6th episode is retarded.
When the show followed the comic it was good, when it didn't it was awful.
No, but it was enjoyable in a soap-opera kind of way. Same with Game of Thrones.
i only watch it for negan. Does he do much leaning back in the new episode?
Is he THIRSTY?
the pretzels are making him very thirsty, especially in the newest episode
watching the earlier stages of the shit hitting the fan is kino same with the fear the walking dead
Fear the walking dead was better til season 4. Favorite season was 3 with that Yas Forums boomer trying to start race war and nick larping as a beaner. Then we got morgan show walking around "aahhm gonna save yeeaall".
fear3 was great
4-5 is a comedy
It should have ended at the gates of Alexandria, when they could hear the kids. It was a bit up and down, but crazy beard Rick and the walk of death were worth it. After that it's trash.
>Season 1
The pilot is legitimately great. Most of the following episodes are mediocre.
>Season 2
Pleb filter. Best character moments of the show. Shane/Rick dynamic is great. Several kino episodes.
>Season 3
Has some high points (Michael Rooker), but the whole season is a repetitive buildup to a payoff that never comes. Disappointing.
>Season 4
Okay overall. From a narrative standpoint, the Governor redemption arc was interesting but now seems pointless. Prison battle and the finale were great, couple of other good episodes scattered around.
>Season 5
Best season of the show. The Terminus arc in the first half is the closest this show has come to unironically great TV. Second half is slower but still good.
>Season 6
Great season, other than the bullshit cliffhanger. Several of the show's best episodes (JSS, No Way Out, Morgan flashback, savior compound assault).
>Season 7
Shit. Killed the show for me.
there was no terminus arc. it was over in the s5 premiere
Eh Rig
For it was really good until the Governor, that is the best part that I remember. And then the beginning with Negan, it took a while to get used to Negan but then I liked it. But after Negan was defeated, more or less in that point. I couldn't watch that shit anymore.
Are they really making 3 walking dead movies with Rick?
doubt it. theyll be lucky to shit out one
More interesting and original things happened in season one than in all of the rest combined. Since then it has been a painful descent into contrived, drawn out, boring, melodramatic nonsense that feels empty and emotionless. It's literally impossible to care about anyone on this show anymore or care about the world they live in since it's all clearly a huge jerk off to string people along. Season one felt like it could go somewhere. The rest of the series went nowhere.
Shit happens. That was great shit. Also after prison with cannibals and those claimers, but then it went to meh. But I still watch it. Why stop now?
Holy shit 10 seasons already, is it ending?
There is no video from Negan killing Alpha?, I would want just to watch that part.
I actually loved 7a. It was vastly different and entertaining to see the good guys so pinned down and helpless. The tension was very high. 7b is where it jumped the shark for me. 8 was complete garbage, and 9 and 10 have been pretty good.
The very first episode was
season 1 good,
season whatever with negan good.
some episode between season 2-4 good
Just watched the episode. Seems like they actually are ending whisperer sotry this season.
11 is confirmed and 12 is likely happening. After that who knows? There is Fear series too and new one is coming. Also Rick movie, maybe even trilogy
Wait so Negan was in love with Alpha or what?
No. He worked for Carol.
And why all the kissing with Alpha?
nah it was more a fun fling for him
maybe he was slighly amused by her but knew how its going to end all along
for the lulz
Mans gotta do what mans gotta do.
did the episode leak again?
No
I did like the premiere. Jeffrey Dean Morgan was great, but they didn't know what to do with the character. The S8 war should've started and ended in S7.
AMC premiere puts episodes out friday night
first season and some episodes here and there. overall it's shit.
first episode
funny because the ratings right now are the lowest they have ever been and this seasons storyline is arguably the strongest the show had so far, but next season will cover the weakest storyline ever
curious to see it happen
The first season was absolute class.
The show consistently had good and bad moments up until the Glenn Dumpster incident.
>Jeffrey Dean Morgan was great, but they didn't know what to do with the character.
He's about the only good thing in the show right now and you nailed it, they have no idea what to do with him because he steals any scene he's in. So they are keeping him away from the current main cast of charisma voids, thinking they can still sell us on them. Let him be front and center, give him things to do, and maybe they can get a few seasons of decent show. If not they they are completely wasting him.
The show died when the CDC explained there was no cure or hope for a cure.
Let the best of the cast run off and replaced them with incredibly unlikable wokesters who just whine and moan. That's why no one is watching.
Man hadn't had pusy in how long?
Name ONE character on TWD that would outlast the most based character on the spinoff show.
shamewhat happened to him in s5. he was indeed the basedest
>tfw no 3 hour long documentary of carol getting dressed in the morning
no wonder this show sucks
this, and I'm worried because they are running out of comic material. his only significant scene left from the comic is fighting beta. I'm hoping that rather than going into exile he'll become a council member at alexandria
Best scenes was Rick biting out Joe’s throat and stabbing the fat guy, and also when they take revenge on Gareth in the church. Season 5 is best season. Show lost its way.
CARL IS INSANELY CUTE
The pilot is the only other zombie stuff beyond 70s Dawn to explore mourning.
Based season 2 user
