Why don't we speak good French? Why? The genuine question here is why does anyone speak French at all? It is a terrible invention, certainly the worst among Indo-European languages, the equivalent of Chinese badly spoken. It is phoney on too many points to count, a deeply pretentious language, a lifeless schema with only pretensions to the truth. It is entirely founded in the classic French arrogance and stupidity; it is inseparable from the cowardice and the bowel movement problems congenital to the Gallic people, their blind uncompromising exaltation of pleasure and sensation above all else, their ineffectuality and their naivety. It's redeeming characteristics are those elements whicha are closest to Latin (a reasonable but tragically overrated language), but on every point at which it strays from this Roman standard it flails and falls into fallacy, nonsense, and hot air, much in the same way that most every French foray of military nature in their long history has also failed. There you have it, the English language equivalent of a few pages of a French writer or thinker.

If you're trying to learn the language, what I recommend is watching the french dub/sub of movies you're familiar with. Dubs are in a neutral accent so you don't have to fight weird inflections and slurred speech.
Oss117 obv
You’re a fucking idiot, dude.
>Dubs are in a neutral accent
french dubs are generally in Quebecois
>french dubs are generally in Quebecois
Dumbest thing I've heard today.
Most dubs are from Europe.

1st they arent pron actress
2nd christelle picot was the best
now i suggest you to think before talking shit again
the french are incapable of speaking their own tongue without a strong accent or tainting it with slangs so quebec's french dubbing industry is strong for hollywood films

The only way I learned more was by listening to French radio and reading french newspapers. With fictional content I cared too much about the story to care what they were saying. Radio helps a lot.

Honestly, I find Godard's film to be pretty soulless. They are interesting in their technique and how different they are from the other films at the time, but there really isn't any beauty in them. Granted I've only watched his early films and he might have changed his technique in the 60+ years he has been working.

Have you seen the sequel too?
The end of Le Chateau de ma Mère really cuts deep.

I have not. I will get to it next time that I watch the first movie.
Is the sequel good, too?
OSS 117 is a top comfy spy-comedy
Jean Dujardin for the win, I just love that shit-eating grin
Yeah, too bad they were garbage. What can you expect from a moron like that, though. How you doing?
The problem I find with French is its mumblecore: the lsnguage
Can anyone recommend d something where people speak clear (not slow, just clear). I tried watching YouTube videos and it's all
