The whole Romulas being destroyed is dumb, even more dumb is the fact that the Romulans - a proud and technologically advanced people - have basically done little since they lost Romulas.
Star Trek is not Stark Trek:

Where No One Has Gone Before, maybe? These kinds of episodes are typically not favorites, especially during the early seasons. They are also not the comfiest, as many tend towards weirdness and the first two seasons have some tense.. almost scary vibes at times.

S7 is all about SENPAI-LEE and has a quiet melancholy shared by early DS9 and VOY (before Star Trek became action shlock)
