>Romulan secret service finds a planet in an 8-star system that was artificially placed as a warning by an immensely powerful civilisation, that when the AI singularity happens, it attracts the attention of something far worse. A sect of this secret society segments off into the Zhat Vash, to solely focus on preventing this from happening. >Romulan star explodes (implied to be artificially induced) and Romulans react too slowly and too pridefully to ask for help >Starfleet, led by Picard, tries to help and evacuates some of whom they're allowed to help, but the fleet of relief ships is being built by robotic workers. Zhat Vash fucks everything by hacking them and making them destroy the fleet, thus forcing Starfleet to ban robotics. The fleet never leaves, billions die, Picard resigns. >Years later, Picard finds an advanced android girl based off Data. She's killed by the Zhat Vash, but he finds out she had a twin, and resolves to find her and save her. >He recruits a crew including his former first officer, a robotics expert, an Aussie ninja Romulan and a captain who dropped out of Starfleet. >They find the creator of the androids, but the robotics expert kills him because she's been shown the ancient warning. >They find the twin android on board a Borg cube wreck. The Zhat Vash have been trying to extort the info about where the rest of the androids like her are. >Picard rescues her and then they chill and eat pizza at Riker's house. >Meanwhile, Hugh is on board the Borg cube trying to rehabilitate former drones. He gets double crossed by the Romulans he's working with and killed, but Seven of Nine steps in to reactivate the cube. >Now, everyone is heading to the planet the androids are being built to either destroy or save them.
Marc Bernadin from Kevin Smith's podcast has joined the writing team for S2 and confirmed on the newest show that its filming in summer back-to-back with S3. He also confirmed the Pike show is happening.

Wyatt Baker
Pretty straight forward actually. Still doesn´t make any sense they turned the show into an utter woke Trek raping mess, with a doddering old fool as HERo who constantly pisses on 8 seasons of his work. Though he obviously doesn´t even remember half of it anyway.
I wonder if this will make Rich Evans's head explode.
Ryan Walker
Also why would you keep this secret. This seems like something you would want everyone to know. An ancient civilization apparently reshaped the fucking star system to make it visible
Marc Bernardin sucks and is super sjwy. On one episode he ranted about how Tarzan should be black and Smith acted like it was the greatest idea ever. It was embarrassing.
>>STD is similar to the concept of a shitty indie video game made by a foreigner >>ST Picard is similar to Mass Effect and The Expanse >Tiresome. Now you know what these "writers" have been doing all these years as opposed to becoming conversant in the genre they are presumably devoted to by reading actual science fiction, fantasy, and adventure books.
Brandon Bell
I was thinking the memberberry they'd dredge up would actually be the robot species from Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Adam Roberts
Did Seven just reconnect to the hive mind?
Jace Foster
the main one? No she sort of made a small hive mind of her own for the cube alone
Easton Taylor
so what's this character about? Introduced into the secret org, borged, deborged, spewing some cryptic shit or apparently just sleeping now? Did I miss something?
Logan Jackson
>Kevin Smith D R O P P E D
Elijah Robinson
At the end of the episode it is implied, with "Annika has still job to do", that something external is releasing her.
Did I also read it correctly, that the romulan le-ebil chick just got assimilated? Since drones were jettisoned, Seven must have assimilated romulan task force on the cube.
Liam Richardson
duh, she's a metaphor for womens' struggle to even because they just can't even (because white males)
Its just a talking point - a mirror for main characters to spew exposition at.
Daniel Perez
I think she was beamed out in the last second, on board of one of the ships that later warped away?
Ayden Cox
I took it to mean Seven the Brief, Queen of the Borg released herself from queen status through sheer will and determination to return to being Annika because reasons.
She was a Zhat Vash agent, and apparently Narissa's aunt. She was exposed to the Admonishment/ancient info and went slightly crazy. Her Tal Shiar ship was assimilated by the Borg, and her knowledge, when introduced into the Collective, forced the Borg to sever its tie to the cube and amputate it like an infected limb, leaving it adrift. She got deborged but she was even more crazy, and Narissa said goodbye to her this ep. That's basically it.
Christopher Rodriguez
What exactly was the fucking point of having Seven become a queen and take over the cube if she couldn't even save her fellow borg? She couldn't put up a shield to keep them from going in to space?
>her knowledge, when introduced into the Collective, forced the Borg to sever its tie to the cube and amputate it like an infected limb, leaving it adrift. ah, so that's what I missed
Owen Hall
Wow they wrote/borrowed waaaaaaay more story than they had room to tell.
Daniel Miller
Drama. I guess. Seven should have been able to beam at least some of the drones back.
Jose Gray
We know the drones can survive in the vacuum of space so yeah she could have just beamed them all back. Its just so pointless. You build her up to becoming a queen and then nothing matters, they all die.
Luis Baker
Much brave. So stunning. Wow.
Cameron Robinson
The teaser for the next episode.... did they just steal the Tholian encounter from Elite: Dangerous?
Julian Smith
A pretty weak fan fiction IMO. Breaks cannon too much. Has an interesting mystery, but looks too bloated. Could use a rewrite with more focus and understanding of the source material.
Ayden White
True. Especially since we know that mini-collectives ( like those Voyager met ) don't need to follow strict rules of the 'normie' Collective.
Fuck. I want an episode of a trippy party Cube full of happy, stoned drones and a laid back queen, going about their business, not harming anyone and assimilating only volunteers. It would be dope.
Daniel Cook
given what the Romulans did to Hugh I doubt they would be very happy but I could see a cube down for some revenge. I doubt any of the former borg would disagree with that mission. It would fit the current Seven story really well she seems to like her revenge
>you will never bang milf milky ezri Why do I even continue to live?
Nolan Johnson
Don't say that, or else we end up with Rian wannabe directing the show.
Evan Anderson
What's the point of the Borg subplot if it wont lead to anything. Because so far in the story the Borg don't seem to relate to anything going on with the synthetics. There wasn't even any payoff for those Borg badges the workers wore which are supposed to glow red or some shit when in a dangerous area.
Joseph Roberts
>ENT made the Borg scary again >STPicard turns them into peaceful refugees
Carter Smith
I remember when the Borg were mysterious and scary...
Nicholas Barnes
Well I suppose you could think of it as the B story to Shoji and the A story. Seven is all about the revenge. That is her character now so lets run with it. Now she is wired up as queen of a cube and has a new object to direct her rage at, Romulans. So they got away, no biggie, she actives the warp drive and follows them while repairing the cube on the way. Over the synth planet she engages in a battle with the Romulans while Picard has to use his +20 diplomat skills to save the synths, the borg, his crew, and the romulans from killing each other in a useless fight. Because revenge is never the answer or some shit like that. Well that is what I would do given the shit pile we have so far.
Adam Kelly
Sounds like the night shift Enterprise crew sketch from robot chicken
James Hernandez
>pike show For fucks sake can't they try something new at least Picard is in uncharted territory
Cameron Taylor
>worried they were copying mass effect as we were going >the madmen are literally doing it
To be honest, least of the shows problems. It's fucking rancid on every level. I'd rather, in fact happily, play Mass Effect 3 for 500 hours before I touched Picard for a rewatch. Hell, I'd play Andromeda. I'd fucking watch the andromeda cutscenes on youtube.
Mason Williams
>at least Picard is in uncharted territory Is it really though? They aren't doing anything NEW weeki it
David Flores
I could never get past that thing on her lip
Andrew Clark
From Atlantis now that would spice it up plus Rodney
