When I was a kid I thought the guy who played Tom Paris was Mel Gibson
And now we know that.
This is now a Nick Locarno thread
>TOS dresses
>JJ dresses
>muh tribbles so random and cute
How to identify cosplay whores 101.
No acoochiemoya edition yet? I am disappointed lieutenant!
why have you edited the chin out of this image?
He was definitely banging his twink bf bashir
Star trek
Chief O'brien was a man of... unusual proclivities.
I wish I looked as half as good as the doctor.
>do this
>EWW HELP RAPE INCELS REEEEEEEE
>Psst, hey buddy, have you ever been in a rape gang?
Missionary, once per week. With his adult wife.
Tom Paris of the Federation starship "Voyager".
>he doesnt have a sexy Janeway calendar
Neither you do, unless you purchase calendars and display them like a Barnes & Noble
i bought it after i took this picture you fag
No
THE ABSOLUTE BEST CHARACTER IN ALL OF STAR TREK
>no white males behind the camera except Frakes
>But, to answer your question, Discovery does a limited number of episodes and a priority there is to get female and diverse directors, so there are fewer opportunities for people like me, which is a great thing. But, yeah, if the opportunity arose to direct Discovery and I fit what they needed and it fit my schedule, I’d love to do it.
Is this why everything's going to shit now? And I don't just mean Star Trek, it's Star Wars, Doctor Who, everything
>well, we could have our new show run by and starring people who have an intimate connection with the franchise, an innate knowledge of its history and tenor
>or... we could hire these absolute nobodies from outta fucking nowhere for the sake of DIVERSITY who have aspirations to change everything to suit their political causes...
>well we gotta go with option two, right?
>yeah option two
a year or so later:
>WHY IS OUR FRANCHISE TANKING?
It's not just the drive for diversity, its the willing disconnection from people who have a history with and understanding of the property
ok fag
Guys I'm almost done with Enterprise and moving onto Picard next!! So hype. Been bingewatching everything star trek for almost 3 months now.
And the absolute best captain is mirror!Archer's motivational delusion of prime!Archer
Sorry for ruining your roleplay.
It is not Marina Sirtis' birthday.
It is somewhere in the world, its called the international date line idiot
>Tom Paris
you mean NICK LOCARNO. so Yas Forums why did NICK LOCARNO change his name to Tom Paris and become a member of the Maquis? HOW DEEP UNDERCOVER WAS NICK LOCARNO??????
My biological dad says he saw Marina Sirtis at Disneyland once when he was on vacation with his family.
>Chief O'brien was a man of... unusual proclivities.
Miles "fuckin' cunny and killin' cardies" O'Brien.
suck a dick, retards
why is picard so handsome
even as a borg He cute
Why is Jake Sisko such a shit actor
See, the part of your delusion here is that you think the way things are done now is in any way different from how it's ever been other than trying to involve people who aren't white dudes
You couldn't name five TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT episode directors if your life depended on it, and if you looked them up you'd find out nobody got their jobs because of their "intimate connection to the franchise", what a hilariously embarrassing thing to even say unironically.
Also star trek fans complaining about inclusion is about the richest fucking thing I've ever read. Gene Roddenberry would hate this shit.
"Star Trek fans" believing exclusion equals inclusion is richer than rich.

Who's being excluded?
I don't think you understand how that insult works. Sit down.
>The Enterprise encounters a previously unseen starship on the edges of Federation space
>Troi: Captain I sense this frowny faced man threatening to kill us has some emotional disturbance.
>Worf: They’ve armed their phaser banks, Captain.
>Troi: I sense they might be dangerous.
>Worf: Should I raise shields and arm phasers, Captain?
>Picard: Shut up Worf. This is no time for your violent irrational Klingon ways. You’re on Starfleet now! Let Troi finish her analysis of their—
>Worf: We are being fired upon!
>Picard: Will you be quiet, Worf! Why is it always violence with you? Please Deanna go ahead.
>Troi: I sense... anger... disconent... malevolence... a wish to... do harm!
>Worf: Shields at 20%! Captain!
>Picard: You’re dismissed, Worf! Wesley, take over his station. There might be trouble brewing. Brewing like a pot of Earl Grey.
>Created by Gene Roddenberry
Based and dubspilled
Troi's character was more useless than Yar's yet Sirtis still wanted to stay on the show but Crosby didnt.
Id rather Yar over Troi
Always thought this was weird.

You were excluded, from early frontal lobe development. Like Alex Kurtzman.
Didn't find Yar that likeable. Troi moreso even if she was useless. Also, better eye candy. Crosby looked like shit by the time of All Good Things.
good point, Crosby's nudes were pretty lackluster and disappointing
Yeah good retort retard.
>the show doesn't allow for my ignorant and prejudiced view on people so its excluding me and people like me
Good. Seethe more.
Damn shame we never got to live in a world where Troi and Crusher wore those short skirts for all 7 seasons.
Star Trek was also pretty big on meritocracy
Actually this show completely supports an ignorant and prejudiced view on people retard.
Real trek is what you're thinking of.
Most directors directing a given episode of Star Trek have previously directed an episode of Star Trek. Obviously everyone has to START at some point, so let's see how Discovery fares...
Discovery has a total of 29 episodes which have 16 directors, that's virtually a 2:1 ratio, why does the show need this many directors?
>Olatunde Osunsanmi x4
>Douglas Aarniokoski x3
>Jonathan Frakes x3
>David M. Barrett x2
>Akiva Goldsman x2
>Lee Rose x2
>T. J. Scott x2
>Hanelle M. Culpepper x2
These all directed only one episode:
>David Solomon
>Alex Kurtzman
>Marta Cunningham
>Maja Vrvilo
>John S. Scott
>Chris Byrne
>David Semel
>Adam Kane
Nearly a third of the directors are in and out. I guess Kurtzman gets a pass, for this at least.
what about std, im doing the same, currently on s2 of tng

Currently binging VOY and stumbled upon Pendari Rock
hail the bastards
I pent so long looking through the list of directors I forgot what my point was... only Frakes here has previously directed Star Trek, the rest of them here are an insular group beholden to this new terrible view of Star Trek rather than any of the older, more well established Star Trek, my point stands, there's a clear disconnect in the franchise and by shutting Robert Duncan McNeill out because he's A FUCKING WHITE MALE they're only enforcing that disconnect rather than encouraging any sort of, you know, congruency in the franchise.
The Rock is such a gigantic pussy
This is the jail the bastards edition.
Oh wow I forgot there was a new episode.
>star trek is white
Wrong
