What's the most aesthetic movie you've seen? Or the most aesthetic shot in a movie?

>aesthetic
you're not using that word properly

SOUL vs SOULLESS

Indeed, that ugly commieblock clumsily masquerading as historical architecture is completely soulless compared to that beautifully imposing creation of pure modernism

>most aesthetic shot in a movie
When Godzilla climbs into view for the first time in the original movie and causes everyone to lose their shit

This part from the force awakens looked nice. It's only on-screen for a couple seconds.

SKROOOOOOOOONNNNNKKK

Ad Astra has a lot of interesting visuals.

Haven't seen it yet but I've got a copy. Is decent watch?

Don't know about "most aesthetic ever" but a great recent example of great cinematography. This entire scene was amazing in theater

Not that guy, but
It's a Three star movie out of five. I wish they had made script more tight and meatier.

How was there enough oxygen for 20+ years?

raise the red lantern

that's Chongquing if anyone cares

Good choice

please user, not this garbage again

Mate, when you breathe it makes oxygen.

I think the most aesthetically pleasing would be Spirit of the Beehive. Come and See is also insanely beautiful.

I will continue to shill for The Duellists

Cool, let's put a plastic bag over your head so you can recycle all the oxygen.

There was a part in the newest how to train your dragon movie where they are flying to the hidden dragon world and it looks really nice. I'm a phone poster so not gonna link.

And I will cheer you on. Bravo! Hooray!

It's also an utter fucking snooze. I've never seen so many people walk out a third of the way through a movie before. First reaction I heard on the escalator out was how boring it was.

Did you at least enjoy those emerald green uniforms the space corps was wearing? I know I did.

There's way too many good shots in movies for me to pick one as the best, but in 2019, I was really fond of Ad Astra's, "I will deal with my father," transition from the room to the hallway. That movie is great.

In standard capeshit/pop media fare, I thought the end of Rogue One was filled with cool shots, but my favorite is when the Death Star is peeking through the clouds.

sounds like a gimmick that won't hold up

damn...

movies i've been most visually impressed by are coppola's dracula, the thing, excalibur, shining, terminator 2, zerkalo, and sonatine.

Peak Jeunet and Caro.
Jean-Paul Gaultier on costume design.
Awesome sets and cinematography.

YO LIL DONNIE
I'M TAKING THIS MEXICAN CHILD ACROSS THE BORDER WHILE DRESSED AS THE SANDMAN FROM SPIDER-MAN 3
AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP ME
HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL?

Your faggotry seems to have killed the thread.

Without a question Alejandro Jodorowsky's 1973 existential/psychedelic/spiritual-occultism masterpiece 'The Holy Mountain'.

YO LIL DONNIE
I JUST KILLED THE THREAD AGAIN
HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL?

Why would I want to look at nakedmen for two hours?

you don't think that's a good photo do you lmao

Knight of cups

Too dark. The concept art was better.

YOOOOOO

This. Also liked the bit where "outside" was b/w, while Zone was in colour

stupid, even on psychedelics its a chore to get through and its so on the nose with its western bashing

It rly does recently rewatched. If it weren't for all the unrealistic parts it'd been very good but I just cringe whenever Brad Pitt does anything

Words change. In internet culture it's used this way

Why say "aesthetically pleasing" when you can just say "aesthetic"?

Onions Green
Prince of Egypt
Office Space

This wasn't as good as the first but some shots like gif related are pure Kino. Tfw will never live in 90s HK, SK or Japan

Plants, algae and machinery

had a dream that looked alot like this pic once

that was easy. Difficulty level has increased.

>hur dur boring boring
When will capeshitters finally learn and stop going to the cinema to watch movies that aren't intended for underage ADHD-riddled audiences?

This movie was so fucking boring I had to turn it off.

Those little bits of the man squatting in front of the fire in Dekalog episode one are kino.

I am obsessed with nighttime photography so any Michael Mann film is peak aesthetics to me; but I want to highlight Miami Vice 2006 as his magnum opus.

Attached: miami_vice_2006.jpg (5760x2400, 1.1M)

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.
