Why are the Chucky movies rarely talked about on Yas Forums? They're all enjoyable save for Seed of Chucky I guess.

Hiiyah!
Literal tranny.
Poor Chucky had to deal with a tranny son before it was cool
1 > 2 > Curse > 3 > Bride > Remake > Cult > Seed
>4 years old
>deathly afraid of Chucky
>parent would take me to cousin's house for 8 hours while they were at work
>cousin would chase me around the house with a Chucky doll that had an actual knife taped to it
>actually threw it at me once, caused my head and nose to bleed
>would be in tears and in fear every single day for what was probably a year
>i never told any of my parents what happened
>wore diapers until I was 8 1/2 because I would instinctively piss myself out of fear every night
>now a paranoid mess to this day
Fuck these movies, man.
>tfw no military gf
The only reason this series was made was to poke at the growing doll demand of the 80’s. A response to marketing and S&D. When you get down to it, this series ain’t that special
Because it sucks shit and is the worst case of "how the fuck are they actually dying to this" that I've ever seen in a movie.

>Why are the Chucky movies rarely talked about on Yas Forums?
Because Chucky is too based for the plebs on this board.
Anyone looking forward to the Charles fan film? Shit looks creepy
There are peaks and valleys with Chucky discussion. Sometimes there's discussion sometimes not. He was one of the top slasher villains in the poll someone did months ago
>it's not special because it's based on a real thing
lmao retarded logic, the Chucky movies have more purpose and meaning than most slasher movies
I wanna eat jennifer tillys tits and ass
I think in terms of popularity on Yas Forums, Michael, Jason, Freddy and Pinhead are the top dogs.
Link?
You've never watched a Child's Play movie, because it's made clear that Chucky needs to be stealthy or shocking to get anyone.
>j-just kick him
Okay, he does get kicked in the movies. And then he comes back. Just shoot Jason or Michael or Leatherface in the head, so easy.
Latest one was shit making him an AI
Keep believing that autistic shit. There's a reason no one actually likes these movies - they were popular for a very small amount of time for a very specific reason that's already been posted here, and promptly died off.
Meanwhile Jason and Michael and Freddy are still icons of the horror genre, and even Leatherface is more popular.
YA STUPID BITCH YA FILTHY SLUT
I'M GONNA COOOOM
Chucky is still popular, you doofus. We had a popular reboot last year and a upcoming TV show from the original creator coming out this year.
>They're all enjoyable save for Seed of Chucky
That's one of the best ones. The early Childs Play movies are kinda boring desu.
Mark Hamill was based as him, though.
based
I love her voice, I don't understand the memes about everyone hating it.
What? Why is he playing dead while no one's there and what are those creepy whispers?
chuck is slangin dick

just SHUT UP AND DRIVE
BEFORE I KICK YOUR FUCKING TEETH IN
GODDAMN WOMEN DRIVERS
Realized your were talking about the reboot. That one is so out of my mind, I thought you were referring to Cult.
>movie 1: start of the saga, scary and fun.
>movie 2: pretty much the same but continues the story while trying to add some variations to keep it fresh.
>movie 3: same old formula, story get stagnant and boring.
>movie 4: takes a turn for comedy and horror, chucky is now the mc, fresh and pretty fun.
>movie 5: continue being an horror comedy, learn from the 4th movie and makes it better.
>movie 6: first movie 2.0, same old exhausted formula.
>movie 7: first movie 3.0, same old exhausted formula.
TLDR: 5>4>1>2>>>>>>>>>>7
Goddamn, man.
I'm sorry to hear that.
Could Chucky be considered a transgender character? Chucky, a CIS-gendered, heterosexual man in the body of a doll, transfers his soul into the body of Nica, a CIS-gendered, heterosexual woman. At the end of Cult, Chucky seems content with his new body/gender, thus would that make him trans? On the flip side, Chucky could still consider himself a man, though him being in the body of a woman that would mean he could also be considered trans?
I know this is a silly question considering we’re talking about Chucky of all things. Just thought it was an interesting idea.
>tries to possess a black kid in 3
>"Chucky's gonna be a bro."
90s humor was based
chucky was pretty progressive without any of the bullshit you see nowadays: he kinda easily accepted his son being trans, has gay characters, female mc, disabled mc.
He does not identify as a woman, therefore he isn't trans. And he's out of her body by the upcoming sequel anyway. Not to mention, he possessed other girls before, like Nica's niece.
Crazy how a psychopath killer doll is less mentally ill than your average modern day tranny.
This guy’s actor was Wormtounge did you know that so Chucky got to work for Dracula
he's unrecognizable as wormtongue, I didn't realize it was him until years after watching the trilogy
I honestly preferred Seed to Bride. I couldn't stand Bride.
What happened to the kid who played Tyler in 3
Fucking disgusting
1
Fucking Pussy. There are two kinds of people fight or flight. Some niggas let killer dolls scare them.
He was also a mad scientist in Dune that talks about wanting to rape Paul's Mom.
Go kick your cousin's ass. It will be cathartic.
Hit the gym user. In 3 weeks your life will have meaning again.
>God Tier
2 - Perfect execution of the formula, Alex Vincent is great and the factory ending is the series' peak
High Tier
1 - Very enjoyable although the "mystery" angle is kind of stupid. Great setting and performances
Bride - The best of the self-aware ones, Jennifer Tilly is perfectly cast and it's legitimately funny without completely giving up the horror
>Meh Tier
3 - Not terrible but predictable and basic, has some good kills and a unique setting.
Curse - Nice throwback to actual creepiness, but formulaic and Chucky doesn't look right
>Bad Tier
Cult - Gets too stupid with the multiple Chucky's, otherwise forgettable
Seed - A few funny moments can't save an otherwise cringeworthy movie
I want to know what Dourif thinks of Hamill’s movie? I know Hamill said he would like to be in a movie with Dourif one day
I think he likes Hamill, but he didn't say anything about it. My guess is he doesn't like it like the Mancini, David Kirschner and Jennifer Tilly.
I got super obsessed with Child's Play in the mid to late 90s. I watched it all the time on USA Network (as well as tape them) and bought the VHS of the first one. Part 2 was my favorite, but I loved part 3 too. I even had a Chucky doll. I wish the footage that was lost from the first one would be found, but I doubt that will happen.
Terrible taste.
I always feel bad for Andy watching the first two movies. He's too smol.
Was ready to become black. Twice.
Because ventriloquist puppets are lame.
